Direction: Based on your own understanding of the discussion above, identify some
barangays/towns/cities in the Philippines that are exposed to hazard. Using a table, indicate what potential
hazards these areas/locations are exposed to.
-Yes, if we are ready and updated about the happenings in our community/city then we could raise
awareness to our family. Hazards can be natural or human inducted. This type of event would be a very
advantage to business man because they will grab the opportunities to promote their product or
whatsoever that could help or can be used to start again (ex. Hardware shops, Furniture Shops, grocery
Store etc.)
EVALUATION
According to the Asian Disaster Reduction Center, the Philippines’ location makes it highly vulnerable to
disasters. Give and classify examples of the types of hazard that our country usually experiences and
state the effects of it.
