I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson students will be able to:

a. Define the moral lesson in the text and its benefits to the real world;
b. Identify how the author express his purpose on writing by a diagram presentation
c. Every student required to make their own insight out from the text.
d. Each group must need to do group reporting and self-engagement through
discussion

A. ACTIVITY

●Ask the students to think one thing that best describe the story “The Book of Sand”

● There will be 5 random students to present their ideas by simply draw the thing they
choose on the board and discuss how it became related to the story by the use zoom
meeting.
●They will be graded accordingly on how they deliver their thoughts in a seamless
manner.

B. ANALYSIS

TEST I: GUESS WHAT?

The teacher will flash some pictures in the laptop and ask the students some questions
and the students will answer it via zoom meeting.

● Define the picture in a one word.

● According to the pictures shown give me a thing that has a 4 letters and composed
of 2 consonants and 2 vowels?

● What should we need in order not to forget the content of the book? This should be
5 letters and the middle of the word is “g”. What is this?

TEST II: COMPLETE ME NOW!

Instructions: Complete the rambled words below and make sure it is connected and
related to the story “The Book of Sand”. Use separate paper in answering it and
STRICTLY no erasures. The student will take a photo of their answer and send it to
the Google Classroom assigned by them.

● The teacher will go to read the text “The Book of Sand” by Jorge Luis Borges

● During the online discussion the students will be group into 5 each group must consist
of 5-6 members and each group must choose their own group leader to lead the group.
● They will need to answer the following questions below and their answer must be put
on manila paper and discuss it online during google meet and also they must send a soft
copy of their report directly to my Gmail iceprincess234@gmail.com.

Instructions: Each student must allow expressing their ideas individually on the 3
following questions and they should be graded according to the criteria below. The oral
recitation must be in a form of google meet.

V. ASSIGNMENT

If you will be an author what particular story you should write? Your answer must
consist of n5 paragraphs. Write your answer in a one whole sheet of paper. The task
will be send directly to the google classroom of the subject.
