TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Your employment will be governed by the rules applicable to the Staff of the Handicap
International in Afghanistan.

Your monthly basic salary will be Afs 44,314/month Category D2.1.

Annual Leave: 24 days in a year
Seniority increment: 2% increase every completed year
Kunduz office Medical Allowance: 3000 Afghani/Month

Eid –e –Bonus: 50% basic salary twice a year prorated to completed months
Bereavement Leave: 3 days
Hajj Leave: 45 days limited to one during employment.
Perdiem: 850 Afs per 24 hours while on travel outside your duty station
Wedding Leave: 5 working days, limited to first wedding during employment unless
you are widowed.

SALARY REVIEW

Your remuneration will be reviewed in accordance with the prevailing organizational


policy and will be based on the evaluation of your performance.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD

There will be (2) months probationary period.

NOTICE PERIOD

Your service during the probation period will be terminable at Ten days notice from
either side or salary in lieu of notice. On confirmation of your services, termination
notice will be of one month from either side or salary in lieu thereof.

TAXES

Taxes on your salary will be deducted in accordance with Afghan Tax Law each
month.
FINAL CHECKS
This offer is subject to the following:
1. Reference check
2. Provision of health certificate
3. Provision of police certificate
4. Offer letter is subject to provision of job certificate from previous employer
