    SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION FOR THE CANDIDATE

    Qualification: FLUX CORED ARC WELDING (FCAW) NC I

    Unit of
    WELD CARBON STEEL PLATES USING FCAW
    Competency:

    1. Given the necessary tools, materials and equipment, you are required to weld
    carbon steel plates within (1 ½) hrs in 2G and 3G positions using FCAW.

    2. Assessment shall be based on the units of competency in the Training


    Regulation and evidence Plan and shall focus on the evidence gathering
    methods below:

     Demonstration / observation with questioning


     Written Test

    3. Final assessment shall be the responsibility of your Accredited Assessor

    4. At the end of the assessment, the assessor shall provide you feedback on the
    assessment result. Feedback will indicate whether you are:

     COMPETENT

     NOT YET COMPETENT
