NARRATIVE REPORT
Before we start the activity, we distribute the roles to each

member first. We first started measuring the length of the gym,

and while other members were measuring, some of us started

drafting and recording the process. Upon doing the actual

measuring, since it was our first time doing this, we encountered

many difficulties. The first difficulty we encountered was one of

our measuring tools malfunctioning and not being usable. Because

of that, we only use one measuring tool. Second, there is a lot of

obstruction on the side, such as grass, a gate, an uneven part of

the ground, and potted plants.


NARRATIVE REPORT
Third, while we were on our second try at measuring the length of

the gym, there was confusion because we forgot the numbers of

measurements and the mark was not clear because we only used a

pencil. We also observed that the width of the gym is not

straight; it was slightly slanted, so it took us a lot of time to

figure out how to get a more accurate and precise measurement of

it.
DATA AND SOLUTION
CONCLUSION
In summary, the process of getting an accurate and precise

measurements, we encountered a lot of difficulties that take us a

while to get. Each one of us did our job, such as the one who was

measuring, sketching, and documenting while doing the process, and

through that, we achieved our results through the excellent

participation of each and everyone of us.

The result of the first attempt was 1,654.150 m2 with a length of

53.6 m and a width of 30.861. The second attempt results in

1,637.827 m2 with a length of 53.09 m and a width of 30.850, and the

third, with a length of 53.72 m and a width of 30.961 m, equals

1,657.853 m2.
RECOMMENDATION
Upon finishing the activity and gathering the data, we found that

the result of our measurements was partially different from the

true value for the reason that we faced many difficulties and

errors during the measuring process. For future students who would

do the activity, we suggest (a) taking notes on the number of

measurements where you stop, so you will not forget it (b) make a

clear and visible mark; better yet, use a marker; and (c) measure

the width of the gym in the middle because the ground in the end

part of the gym was slanted and you will get a different result if

you measure there.
