Romans 2:29
“Circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter”
Without the spirit of God, we can do nothing but add sin to sin. We need God for
guidance through the holy Spirit for us to give a daily reminder that sin must be cut out
of our lives. Circumcision is an outward sign of a regenerate people. It is a beautiful
picture of imputed righteousness. It is a symbol of an inner change of heart- a seal of
God’s approval , through faith.
May us worship the Lord in a holy manner and exalt the atoning death and
resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. And may we not put our faith on the flesh. As we
worship the one who has declared us righteous in God’s eyes through faith in Christ,
may we never forget that genuine circumcision is a broken and contrite heart before our
heavenly Father. 
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the way you have illustrated the true meaning of
spiritual circumcision and the baptism of the holy spirit in your word. Thank you that my
salvation is not displayed by any outward behavior but through the inner circumcision of
my heart, when I trusted Christ for salvation and was made spiritually alive in him. Give
me wisdom and discernment as I read your word, and keep me from basing my
scriptural understanding on man’s false perception, rather than the truth of God’s word.
Open the eyes of men and women, Jew and Gentile alike, to the truth of the glorious
gospel of Christ, so that hearts may be truly circumcised before you, for your greater
praise and glory, Amen.

OARRCARE
OBSERVATION:
Circumcision of the heart implies humility, faith, hope and charity. All things are
possible when we believe in him, and faith alone has the power to make us complete.
ANALYSIS:
“All things are possible to him that thus believeth” All people are sinners,
regardless of color. All have a sin nature attributed to them. All fall short of the
perfection of Christ and the glory of God. It is not too late for people to repent of their
sins, what we only need is to believe in God and all things are possible.
REACTION AND REFLECTION:
No one has the right to God's praises unless their hearts have been marked by
faith and humility. Therefore, we must aim to entirely give God our hearts and
accomplish everything for His honor. Sometimes what we really need is light, especially
in darkness for us to continue walking to the right path so we need to see God as our
light for him to guide us in the right direction in life.
RECOMMENDATION/ APPLICATION/ EXPRESSION:
What we only need is to follow God and walk in the Spirit because we love him.
There is no condemnation for us, no matter how many times we stumble, mess up,
stray, or struggle. Although we have been forgiven because of our position in Christ. We
can see that man's sin is profound and intense. It deserves God's judgment. We come
to the realization that we aren't as good as we formerly believed once we discover the
intensity and seriousness of our sin.
Think of instances in your life that you followed God, did you feel that life is so
meaningful and easy, is that because we open our hearts to him and let him control and
decide for our lives. Our plans in life are nothing compared to the plans of God so
always remember to obey and trust his plans.

CONCLUSION:
Labels and actions don't matter; what counts is our faith, which
distinguishes us as true believers. When it is genuine, when a person is marked as one
of God's people and has undergone a circumcision of the heart, God praises that
individual. God, after all, is aware of our hearts. Otherwise, only men who observe a
person's outward behavior—which may or may not be sincere—will compliment them.
Being applauded by God, who actually knows us, is far more significant than receiving
the applause of mankind.
