3. Application of the device

 The device for transporting furniture was designed to hoist and transport wooden and
metal furniture. It is equipped with rubber and PA lining to prevent damage to the surface
of the furniture.
 The furniture may be moved in two ways: with the use of one trolley, in a position tilted at
an angle of about 30o or with the use of two trolleys bound with straps in vertical position
in any direction.
 It is always necessary to use a strap to stabilize the furniture and prevent its uncontrolled
movement.
 The device is equipped with a hydraulic mechanism for hoisting and lowering the load.
Such a drive is very efficient and does not require great effort from the employee.
 Prior to transport of the furniture a "dry" trial of the operation of the hoisting mechanism
should be carried out, and following the first transport operation the tightness of the
hydraulic system should be checked by observing lowering of the hoisting lugs.
 Lugs without load can lower slowly or with considerable delay, in such case use hand or
foot to accelerate the process.

4. Preparation of devices for transport

 The floor on which the transport will take place should be clean and even. Prior to
transport make sure that floor lining and carpets will not obstruct the movement of the
loaded trolley.
 Make sure the floor load carrying capacity is sufficient to bear the transported load.
 Check the furniture for loose and unprotected parts which may pose a hazard during
transport.

AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION

 Prior to transport check whether the trolley is strong enough to sustain the weight of the
furniture.
 Do not exceed the trolley load limit of 1000 kg/pair.
 Find the center of gravity of the transported furniture. The load should be distributed
evenly in the center of the hoisting lugs. The center of gravity of the load should not be
placed higher than 0.6 m from its basis, supported on the trolley lug, so as to prevent
uncontrolled rotation around the upper point of support.
 In the case of transporting furniture on two trolleys, the distance between them should not
be less than 0.5 m.
 The load should always be stabilized with the use of 4 m long fastening straps (included in
the set).
 Do not use the device for dragging behind other vehicles.

7. Transport with the use of devices

 The device is equipped with a hydraulic mechanism for hoisting and lowering the load.
Such a drive is very efficient and does not require any great effort from the employee.
 If any defects of the device were found prior to transport, further use is forbidden.
 Two persons are necessary for carrying out transport with the use of two trolleys.
 If the furniture is provided with feet higher than 150 mm, the fastening lug should be
moved to the upper grip to increase its initial height.
 If the furniture is wide, use the large lifting lug provided with the device, which ensures
more stable positioning of the load.
 If the furniture is not stable when on the trolley, cease the transport operation.
 The fastening straps should be placed in the grips designed for their attachment (Fig. 2), as
shown in Figs. 3-4. Remember to protect the furniture against damage by the strap with
the use of additional spacers, e.g. cardboard, to prevent uncontrolled scratching of the
loads.
 In the case of simultaneous transport, both trolleys should be raised to the same height.
 Transport should be executed with the load not more than max. 2 cm above the surface of
the floor.
 When transporting high furniture care should be taken to prevent uncontrolled sideways
tilting.

8. Servicing and maintenance of the device

 The device should be periodically inspected for wear.

 The device does not need lubricating, with the hydraulic actuator being the sole element
requiring careful attention. In the case of loss of the hoisting power dismantle the hoist
and fill with hydraulic oil.
 Never completely unscrew the knob which lowers the lug!!!
