Oz Model Assignment

Models are essential items for actors, directors, and designers to look at when considering a
number of different aspects of the set. Within this assignment you will be creating your very own
model based on the render assignment you have completed earlier in this unit. It is important
that we as set designers are clear in our design to help everyone understand before they create
a larger set based on this small one.

What I am looking for is the following:

1. Accurate creation of your set based on your render.

2. Space is used meaningfully

3. Items within your set are to a uniform scale

A few small notes:

Look for alternative items that might substitute for things within your set
Having “Tabs” on your items help things stand and stick together.
1/2 ‘ (inch) is equal to 1” (Foot)
Our mini models are 18’ wide by 14’ long and 12’ high

Happy building!
