I. RATIONALE

Nowadays, self-study is one of the most important skills that need to be developed and
enhanced as a means of effectiveness for many students, it is considered one of the most
difficult aspects for students. When studying in college or university, some students are
aware of the importance when they have a sense of self - study or study group and have
many people to achieve success

In order to turn theoretical knowledge into their own knowledge, students must have a
process of training and learning as well as be flexible in practical application. Part-time work
is an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in practice.

However, everybody didn't always have good conditions. To arrange a reasonable time, and
solve this problem we need support from family and school.

For that reason, we choose the research topic " The impacts of a part-time job on self-study
among English- majored sophomores at Faculty of English, Hue University of Foreign
Language." as a topic for studying the subject of written materials science to find some good
methods in study
