Hi, friends

My name is Najma Fatimatuz Zakiyah. At this time, I would like to share my story when I
was doing chemical research on changes in matter and energy with my group in the
laboratory on Friday at the UNEJ campus which was guided directly by Sita as our laboratory
assistant. I will do my best in this research.

when I was in the laboratory and about to do research with my group. In this practice, I was
very excited because chemistry is one of my favorite subjects with the molecules and
compounds in it. Moreover, the lab assistant is very friendly and kind, the main 5 stars,
hehehe. In fact, all of my group seemed very excited about this research Here we have 3
experiments, namely there is experiment chalk, salt, and iodine with CHCl3
As you can see in the photo above, my group and I started the first experiment, which is
about lime by putting 2-3 tablespoons of lime powder into a 50 ml beaker then adding 20 to
30 ml of water and stirring until evenly distributed then we take the liquid which had been
mixed with approximately 5 ml into a significant tube, then we separated the center and
precipitate using the decantation method, then the remaining solution in the beaker was
filtered and we collected the filtrate, then we compared the decantation center with the filtrate
which was filtered and the result was a solution which is filtered becomes clearer than the
results in the decantation. Fortunately, this experiment was very easy and my group
succeeded immediately. Then the second experiment was about salt by dissolving table salt of
approximately one teaspoon into a 50 ml beaker with added water to taste then filtering and
accommodating the filtrate and then evaporating it in a porcelain cup over the flame of the
burning spirit until the water evaporated. Then we compare the physical state of table salt
before and after the process and the result of the above experiment is that what was coarse
salt became fine salt so friends
in the experiment, which is about iodine, that is by inserting iodine into a reaction tube
containing 5 ml of water and then shaking it and I notice the color is like the picture above,
I'm watching the iodine solution which I haven't shaken yet. after I shake the color it turns
yellow then I add 1 ml of CCl4 solution then I shake the solution that I have mixed and the
result is how come the color turns black, is there an error in the experiment that we made, I
immediately panicked, then I asked the assistant Our lab is Sis Sinta, I asked Sis Sinta, "Sis,
how come ours is pitch black, how come it's not the same as other groups?" Then Sis Sita
with a friendly smile and answered "Oh, it looks like you have too much iodine solution,
please try again but with less iodine" I replied, "OK, ready Sis".
And after undergoing a rather difficult iodine experiment, it finally worked, and the liquid
from the experiment earlier turned yellow and the bottom turned purple, guys, hehe. I and my
group are very happy with the results of this experiment because you know that we failed and
everyone panicked hehe, I guess my group made a mistake we just panicked and I think just
like a newbie
Then after the research is complete. I and my group also took photos to capture the
experience this time, that's the documentation, guys, you can see, guys, in the photo above,
we looked really tired after the research and after the photo, we went straight to the canteen to
celebrate the success of our research. So let's just end here, guys, my story at this time, if it's
viral, I'll continue part 2 hehe so it's like on FYP Tik Tok hehe, see you guys
