On Instagram there’s no shortage of advice on what
tools to use and even-though the right tools make
your workflow more efficient, it's tricky figuring out
what works and what doesn't. In this eBook, I list out
the best tools I’ve used to stay consistent with my
content creation process from brainstorming to
publishing. No long pages just straight to the point
tools. Ready to tackle this?

BRAINSTORM
A good brain dump makes should be the first step in your content planning
process. Whether you use a pen and paper or any apps, take it in 5 minutes
strides and ask yourself:
Note: Don’t try to filter or edit your ideas when you're brain-dumping; just
dump it all and flesh it out as you can when it’s time to plan
It keeps track of your ideas by date. So if an idea comes up, you put it in and
even if you come back tomorrow, it’ll be organized so you can keep track of it
all in one place.
Here's a link to the agenda app online so you can see it's functionality. and its free!

stimulating your brain for more Ideas

ORGANIZE
Organizing your content is important if you’re going to be successful and
consistent on social media.
But you need the following to stay organized with your content:
- Content pillars- a list of 3-5 core topics you talk about that makes up your
overall brand message.
- Content purpose: what is the goal of this piece of content you're creating?
(educate, tell a story, connect, promote a product)
- CTA (Call to Action): What do you want people to do with your content?
(share, like, comment, save, click the link in your bio)
- Content Format: The best format to deliver your content (hint: video)
After trying multiple content calendars, I finally created and found one that
works. Airtable! Here's a template that you can use and a walkthrough of how
to use it.

BONUS TIP:
BATCHING
Once you’ve organized your content and you know what you need to create,
it’s time BATCH CREATE
I'm sure you've heard of so many creators talking about batch content
creating and the truth is, it looks different for everyone.
This is what my Wednesday look like to me when its time to batch create
content.
I use one day to script and film my videos, another day to create my
carousels and another day to edit my photos and write out my captions.
The goal is to get out as many content pieces don’t, so you reduce the
overwhelm of “oh shit, I have to post” and not knowing what to post or where
to start from.
There are no cool tools to batch, just make sure you map it out in your
calendar and when you're done with batch creating, it’s time to prep.

PREP
Prepping content all depends on the format and because I’m a big believer
in dabbling in different formats, I’m giving you different tools you can use
to level up your video, audio and graphics.

ADD SUBTITLES TO YOUR VIDEO
Level up video content using Kapwing
Kapwing is my favorite tool for adding subtitles to my IGTV, Reels and any
other video I create outside of the app (think: courses, video walkthroughs
etc) You can do so much with the app from resizing your video, adding
headlines, and so much more.
Quick tip:
Kapwing gives you the option to autogenerate subtitles but make sure
you edit the subtitles when they generate because it's still in it's beta
phase.
Another Tip:
Inshot is another app you can use for your video editing and adding text
so this is a good app to use if you're new to the world of video editing and
you need an easy to learn app.

CREATE YOUR AUDIO FILES
Create effortless audio files with waveforms on this app using the audio
files you create on your phone and the graphics you create on canva. I've
listed out the steps below that I use to create my audio files for instagram.
Record your audio file using the voice-notes app on your phone (no
need for the fancy apps)
Create and download the Canva graphic
Upload your canva graphic to the wavve app
Add your wave forms to your liking and adjust the color
Generate your subtitles
Edit the subtitles
Download and publish
Note: I highly recommend using the desktop for this because the mobile
interface is trickyto navigate

CREATING YOUR CAROUSELS
Most of you know that carousels are a great form of content that increases
your engagement (saves and shares) but they have to be done right.
Also, if you want to know what makes your content planning process easier
when it comes to using carousels? Having templates.
Whether they are custom made or created by you on Canva, it’s important
to have a set of templates that you frequently use to make your Instagram
page cohesive.
If you want to get ready made templates for your IG feed check out

Now let me show you how to write out your content in carousels
Slide 1: Is for your headline and the goal is to capture attention and target a
problem (surprise, be negative, ask a question)
Slide 2: Develop interest and be intriguing, ask a question or build curiosity
by explaining the reward of solving a problem
Slide 3-8: Develop a desire to solve the problem by adding value to your
audience
Slide 9: Bring it all together by making it your summary slide
Slide 10: Deliver your CTA

PLAN
Planning your posts is not a necessary step but it is important if you have an
upcoming launch, or if you’re like me and you’re obsessed with how your
feed looks while it’s adding value to your audience.
While there are other popular planning apps, I use the Preview App to get a
sense of how my feed will look every 2 weeks.

PUBLISH
I know some IG guru probably told you that using publishing tools was
going to look unfavorable to the algorithm but the truth is, why would
Facebook (who owns Instagram) create a tool for you to use to schedule
out your posts and publish if they were going to punish you for it.
This is my new favorite tool that I’ve been playing around with and as
things become busier this year, I’ll be scheduling out my posts to publish
automatically on Instagram so I can stay consistent with my content but
it'll save me time with having to go on the app to do that myself.
Other tools you can use to automatically publish your content are:
