The benefits of the swimming.

All different sports have benefits for your body and health, but specifically swimming has
particular benefits for you, this because the environment in that is done. Here, five benefits
that practice swimming bring for you:

1- Improve the coordination: In the moment of swim you have to do different things at
the same time, since focus in your legs to kick the water and impulse forward, use your
arms to push backward water, while you’re focus in your breathing, taking enough air
to keep yourself floating, but no too much to can’t go down in the water. And all of
this has to do it with coordination to do it rightly.

2- Work different muscular groups at the same time: Swimming is a sport where you
have to use the most part of muscles of your body at the same time, for that you can
improve your musculature in few time (in 3 or 4 month you can see the improving in
your body easily). The muscles that you work in a pool are:

Legs: Quadriceps and hamstrings.

Arms: Biceps, triceps and tares major.

Forearm and hand: Supinator and pronator.

Back: Dorsal, trapeze and shoulder.

And pectorals and abs.

3- Improve your lung capacity and respiratory system: The basic of swimming is the
breath, more than your muscles, or your physique, for that, the first thing that your
learn swimming if to control your breathing, learn how to take how much air as you
can, and how optimize it. That do that swim would be an excellent exercise to people
with asthma, or ex-smokers,
4- Improve the circulation and the cardiovascular system: Because of this sport happen In
the water the body keeps fresh more time, for the body position at the time to swim,
the heart could beat the blood with more facility, and how the heart can do its work
easily, the body can effort a little more without touch its limit.

5- Stress reduction: the exercise in general is a stress reducer, but do it in the water has
its benefits. The body keep fresh, the water reduce the muscular tension, the heart
rate and relax your breathing. This helps you to keep relaxing, and this effect can last
until for one or two hours after the exercise.

In general, this is a sport that I can recommend for all, children and adults, it’s confortable and
friendly with the body and the heart, in fact, some docs recommend it to people with some
sickness, as scoliosis and leg weakness, because it’s little demanding and all can do it.
