TEACHING PLAN - DAY 4 - UNIT 3

1. WARM UP ( 20 MINS)
1.1. GAME ON: TABOO ( 10 - 13 MINS)
There are 2 students from each team coming and sitting in front of the class, and he/she is given a
crown with a piece of paper pinned to it. He isn’t allowed to see the word written on the piece of paper.
Other members describe the word (ONLY speak in English, NO SPELL). The crown-wearing student
have to write down his word to black board.

1.2. ASK AND ANSWER ( 7 - 10 MINS)

- How do you think about your appearance today?


- When is your appearance most important?
- What do you think when you look at yourself in the mirror?

2. TACTICS UNIT 3: CLOTHES ( 60 MINS)

2.1. VOCABULARY ( 15 MINS)

- Ask students to do the 1st task in Student’s book (unit 3, page 10)

- Ask for the answer, let student try to pronounce on their own first, then correct and ask whole class read
aloud the word again.

2.3. GAME ON: STICKY FEET

Divide students into two groups, Each team chooses 2 players and each player is given 1 chalk. Players
must sit on the floor and stick their feet together to move. The teacher will read 2 words, the team that
moves to the board and finishes 2 words faster will be the winner
- round 1: shirt, skirt ( team 1) / dress, blouse ( team 2)
- round 2: sandals, hat / shoulder bag, scarf
- round 3: windbreaker, sneakers / jeans, tie
- round 4: suit, shorts / glasses, T- shirt
- round 5: jacket, shoulder bag / blouse, skirt
- round 6: glasses, sandals / windbreaker, scarf

2.4. CONSERVATION ( 15 MINS)

Teacher divides the class into pairs and asks them to make a conversation about clothes. They can
ask and answer about “What are you wearing now”

4. Topic: Shopping (10 mins)

4.1 Listening (15 mins)

Student will hear a conversation and then answer the questions below

2. What color would he like?
3. What size does he need?
4. How is his suit at the first try?
