A computer keyboard is an input device that allows a person to enter
letters, numbers, and other symbols. It is one of the most used input
devices for computers. Using a keyboard is often called typing. A
keyboard contains many mechanical switches or push-buttons called
“keys”. Using keyboard, you can enter any type of numerical data into the
computer

What are the uses of keyboard in computer?

There are five uses of a keyboard in a computer, which are given below.

 MOUSE
• The mouse is a small, movable device that lets you control a range
of things on a computer. Most types of mouse have two buttons
and some will have a wheel in between the buttons. Most type of
mouse connect to the computer with a cable and some type of
mouse is wireless
• The main function of a mouse is to move the mouse cursor on the
screen in the desired direction.Select.

PRINTER
A printer is an external hardware output device that takes the
electronic data stored on a computer or other device and
generates a hard copy. Printers are one of the common computer
peripheral devices that can be classified into two categories that
are 2D and 3D printers

Two types of printers are commonly used nowadays

• Inkjet Printers
• Laser Printers

WEBCAM
A webcam is a camera that connect to a computer. It captures either still
pictures or motion video on the internet in real time
• Webcams are built into laptops but are separate units that attach to
the monitor of a desktop computer.
• A webcam is an input device that captures digital images . These are
transferred to the computer, which move to the computer

There are two types of webcams

1. basic webcams, made by MIcrosoft, Logitech, HP, etc. and
2. IP Network Webcams also known as network cameras
BARCODE SCANNER
A barcode reader, also called a price scanner or point-of-
sale (POS) scanner, is a hand-held or stationary input
device used to capture and read information contained in
a barcode.It comprises a scanner a decoder (either built-in
or external) and a cable used to connect the reader with
the computer or POS system

What are the advantages of barcode readers?
