1. Turn the lights out so it is easier to see the • Torch

3. Play any type of music for the remaining students

4. The spotlighter shines the torch around the room, over the
students dancing.

5. When the torchlight hits a student, that student has to stop dancing
and hold still until the light moves off them.

6. If the spotlight catches a student dancing then they are out.

Adaptations:
• You can play the game until there is a winner or you can just play the game for the
duration of the song.

• Try different styles and tempos of music to see if more students get out if the music
is slower or faster.

• If you have a large group of students, have two spotlighters.

• Dancers can perform different styles of dance per song.
