ATL FEST
TECHNASIA-2022

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1. Students can participate in the mentioned events in two


categories- Category-1 (Classes VI-VIII) and Category-2
(Classes IX-XII).
2. A student can participate in only one event.
3. A school can participate in all four events in all categories but
with different participants.
4. Schools should register their participation through google form
link https://forms.gle/Z6uJvQEARtdQpUCy6 latest by
22nd October, 2022 and send entries latest by 5th November,
2022 on aisatl.technasia2022@gmail.com
5. Once registered, change in the registered participants is not
encouraged.
6. The host school will participate, but will not compete for any of
the prizes.
7. The decision of judges will be final and irrevocable.
8. Results of all the events will be declared on the day of the ATL
Fest i.e., on Saturday, 12th November, 2022.
9. Participation certificate will be given to all the participants.
10. First three positions will be awarded in all the four events.
11. One teacher in-charge per school is allowed to join the offline
event along with the Participants on Saturday, 12th November,
2022.

ABOUT THE FEST
Ahlcon International School strongly believes in giving a platform to
young innovators to expand their horizon, showcase their talents and at
the same time learn from each other’s work.

Atal Tinkering Fest - Technasia 2022 is yet another effort by


Ahlcon’s Science fraternity to encourage Critical thinking, analytical
problem-solving and foster research among children.
Innovation is the consequence of need, creativity and skill. One who
has the power to hone these three magical parameters is the one true
innovator. This event aims to dissect the young creators basing itself
on every area from practicality of daily life problems to combating
global issues through the limbs of AI and Engineering. The fest
comprises of four participating events for classes VI-XII, spanning in
a week time ready to test their creative energy. Only one event will be
conducted offline and other three will be online.

• Mission Doodle
• Game of Code
• Tinker IT
• Innovision
EVENT-1: MISSION DOODLE
(3D Designing)
No. of Participants: 2 Members
Classes: IX-XII
Mode of conduct: Online
Guidelines: Participants have to create their own 3D Designs based on the given theme.
They can use any 3D designing software eg: AutoCAD, TinkerCAD, etc. They can
submit their entries by mailing 3D Design File (.stl file for your design), Video
explaining/presenting their design (3-4 minutes).
Theme:
Design a Drone - Drones can be very helpful and vital source of information.
They can help government or infrastructure companies by collecting data related
to road traffics, water bodies, etc.
Submission:
1. 3D Design File (.stl file for your design)
2. Video explaining/presenting their design (3-4 minutes).
Note: 3D design must include the component/part used for addressing the problem
chosen. Entry must be mailed at aisatl.technasia2022@gmail.com

EVENT-2: GAME OF CODE
(Python Coding)
No. of Participants: 2 Members
Classes: IX to XII
Mode of conduct: Online
Guidelines: Students have to code a python program on the given theme and prepare a
video clip running their code. Project MUST NOT be a COPY PASTE from the
internet. This competition is the perfect way to master basics to techniques like neural
networks.
Themes:
Computer Vision – Wear your thinking caps and bust your basics into bringing
about real change. Turn AI into senses through object detection, handwriting to
text, road surveillance, etc.
Submission:
1. Python code
2. Short video clip showing their project and working of code.
Entry must be mailed at aisatl.technasia2022@gmail.com

EVENT-3: TINKER IT
(Working Model)

Classes:
• Category 1: VI-VIII
• Category 2: IX-XII
Mode of conduct: Offline
Guidelines: Students have to prepare project on any one the Sub-Theme given below.
Project MUST NOT be a DIRECT COPY PASTE from the internet.
Theme:
Extinction Rebelled - Drastic problems call for intelligent solutions. Therefore,
the challenges that are provided to you are based on real life. Select any of the
Sub-themes given below and prepare a working model/prototype along with a
presentation.
• Agricultural Irrigation/Water management
• Forest Fire
• Old Age Problems (eg: Medicine Reminder)
• Invent your Future (Futuristic Projects eg: Automated Lighting system)
• Detect and Protect (eg: Combating Covid)
• Any other Innovations
Submission: Teams will have to give a presentation on working of their project,
showing its relevance and applications during the offline event i.e. on 12th November,
2022.

(Mobile/ Web App Designing)

Mode of conduct: Online
Guidelines: Participants have to create a Web App/ Mobile App based on the given
topic with any platform of their choice eg: MIT App Inventor, Xcode, VS Code, Adalo,
etc.
Theme: The current generation is majorly dependent on apps for almost all areas of
their lives, be it connecting with people virtually, seeking information on a myriad of
topics or just a source of entertainment. They have endless functions and endless means
of providing them.
Project Upgrade- Present an idea in the form of an app that facilitates upgrading
your daily life routines, solving problems you face or making the things your life
easier and more efficient.

Submission:
1. URL or APK file.
2. Synopsis of the designed Web/ Mobile App in the form of word doc or PDF.
