Discipline Time

Assalamualaikum wr wb

With all due respect to the honorable judges, to all of the teachers and audiences, ladies
and gentlemen, good morning everyone…

I thank God for giving the health and time, so we can attend and gather here in good
condition on this event.
Let me introduce myself first, my name is …..I am the fifth class of Sampangan
Elementary School. Today, I would like to tell you my speech about Discipline Time.

The honorable judges, teachers and audiences

There is perhaps no area of our life where self- discipline is more important than in the
way we manage our time. Time management is a core of discipline that determines the quality of
our life.

Peter Drucker says, “You cannot manage time, you can only manage yourself” Time is
perishable; it cannot be saved. Time is irreplaceable; nothing else can replace it. Once it is gone
or wasted, you can never get it back. Time is indispensable, especially accomplishment of any
kind. All achievement, all result, all success requires time.

Time management is really life management, it is personal management. Time

management is ability to choose the sequence of event. By exerting our self-discipline with
regard to time, we can choose what to do first, what to do second, and what to do not at all. We
are always free to choose. Yet, we require tremendous self-discipline to overcome
procrastination that holds most people back from great success.

As a student, we have to really pay attention to this, the discipline time; we can start from
on time going to the school. So we are never late. Then, never delay doing the homework, and
work school assignments. Particular discipline of learning time, this will help us understanding
the lesson in school faster and easier. Thus without us knowing we have been taking part in
helping to promote national development in our beloved country. A state if it is not accompanied
with discipline time in all aspect, then the state would be impossible to get a head.

So, it is the right time for us to rekindle the spirit of learning, time to prepare the future of
our education. It is time looked at this world with all the ability we have. It is time we prove that
we can do something for our country especially in terms of educational development in our
country.
