Learnt so far in the Module

While educating in the module of ___________ I have gained in depth knowledge through
researches, lectures and recommended literature regarding the traditional and contemporary
approaches of management. Decisions of implication of such strategies are essential in
businesses as they define the structure and culture within the firm along with having critical
contribution towards the success of a company.
The literature included depth of the research of traditional approaches of managerial
compositions that primarily concentrate towards achievement of aims and objectives set into
motion by senior management of a business that generally are in relation to increased revenues
or profitability ratios that are in particular pleasing for the shareholders. However, the opposite
of traditional strategy is a contemporary management approach that is known to be
revolutionizing plan if implemented accurately. It focuses on controlling the procedures, assets
and creativity within a firm for the achievement of objectives that are possible to accomplish in
regards to the current possibilities, circumstances and limitations that are derived by the
economic and social rationality of the market activities.
The detailed literature also included comparisons within the two by which I learnt in different
types of firm different management approaches are applicable considering the nature of the
industry as both of them have their advantages and disadvantages. Contemporary management
are flexible in accordance to the evolving situations, skill sets and workflows in an industry.
While on the other hand, traditional approaches are focused towards creating a stable business
environment as there is a fundamental objective that provides clear path of continuous growth
and progress.
In my learnings of these contradictory approaches of management I have read detailed resources
that helped me develop a sense of different implementation plans of each. I also learnt through
the examples of application of these strategies in different businesses that in the dynamics of
business it is not necessary that the modern approaches are suitable in every situation. In fact,
every business must evaluate and implement management strategies upon the consideration of
their industries and nature of those.

Feedback assessment contributions

Through the feedback of my work I realized that I am good are comprehending information and
balancing the pros and cons of each. Moreover, I also learnt that my detailed knowledge about
management and business industry was advantageous for me as it impacts the understanding of
theoretical knowledge. However, I evaluated that I need to change my approach of thought
processing that modern revolutions are best in every situation as through the learnings, literature
and work feedback I have learnt that is not always the case.

What do I want to do next?

In my opinion, I should benefit from having my hands in management expertise practically, thus
I recommend holding a scenario in which learners are given circumstances to address. This is for

learners to put what they've learned in class into practice and implemented in genuine
circumstances.
Theoretical and operational information are like opposite faces of the same coin; each is
essential. Practical education is required since it prepares you to understand how objects work in
the actual world. Our educational structure now requires a practical perspective, thus they
emphasize 'hands-on learning' experiences. Experiential educational can provide the finest
educational experience.
