SCORE INTERPRETATION & COACHING TIPS

In this section, scores per dimension are highligted plus narratives that goes hand-in-hand with coaching tips for
managers.

Numerical Reasoning

The ability to analyze problems that are mathematical in nature by utilizing math principles in order
to come up with logical inferences and arrive at data-driven solutions.

Candidate Score: Outstanding

• Proficient and adept in recognizing and employing vital information to accurately and quickly solve
math problems with varying difficulty.
• Can accurately infer, interpret and evaluate complex numerical concepts and consistently solve a
problem with relatively ease.

As his/her manager, you should:

• Assign tasks that will exercise not just numerical reasoning but decision-making skills as well. This
will not only give a sense of accomplishment but will also boost confidence in dealing with this line
of work.
• Give timely and genuine feedback to instill the value of continuous improvement.
• Allow him to share his knowledge and guide junior members of the team on how to better
approach number-related problems. Dismissing suggestions might result to discouragement.

Verbal Ability

The ability to use words in its appropriate context by having knowledge and comprehension of its
meaning.

Candidate Score: Outstanding

• Possesses strong and advanced vocabulary skill which enables one to not only understand words,
but even to expound on its meaning if necessary.
• Proficient in effective utilization of terminologies given wide range of vocabulary and accurately
recognizes context of use.

As his/her manager, you should:

• Acknowledge his language proficiency and at the same time, remind to use complex words
appropriately. Emphasize the importance of communicating effectively and efficiently.
• Obtain his constructive feedback about the point of discussion. Exchange of information is highly
valued and thus, fruition of new ideas will be discovered.
• Encourage to use different communication techniques to promote optimal interpretation of
messages.

Spatial Reasoning

The ability to understand, analyze, and develop mental imagery of how objects will appear when
parts of figures are rotated, folded, and assembled.

Candidate Score: Outstanding

• Exhibits exceptional judgment and perception which enables one to visualize how each given data
fits perfectly with each other through analysis and mental imagery.
• Proficient in recognizing relationships of objects from multiple and varying sources of data. This
allows forming sound and data-driven analysis effectively and develop logical inferences and
conclusions.

As his/her manager, you should:

• Allow to lead or act as a consultant to co-team members who needs guidance in creating
data-driven analysis. This will maximize one's high potential of developing logical inferences and
conclusions.
• Value and consider insights on how to strategically approach multiple numbers of interrelated data.

Numerical Ability

Measures a person's ability on working with calculation. It assesses performing numerical operations
such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division quickly and correctly.

Candidate Score: Above Average

• Comfortable with working with simple to complex numerical information. Demonstrates keeness
in ensuring data accuracy.
• Has strong numerical knowledge in performing complex numerical operations within short period
of time.

As his/her manager, you should:

• On-board him on projects requiring extensive analyzation of numerical data to to further develop
and maximize his abilities. Giving basic numerical tasks might result to disengagement and boredom.
• Maintain proficiency by giving a chance to do tasks involving complex computations
independently.

Clerical Perception

Measures a person's ability to quickly recognize similarities and differences in written material.

Candidate Score: Low Average

• Able to spot obvious inaccuracies on written material, but still needs to perform countercheck
measures to ensure correct output.
• Can determine apparent differences of written materials given sufficient time and with less
supervision needed.

As his/her manager, you should:

• Empower him to further develop his accuracy and precision in proofreading by giving adequate time
and guidance.
• Provide written materials that are not lengthy to scan through. This is to ensure that one can
perform such tasks independently given enough time.

Form Perception

Measures a person's ability to quickly and accurately see details in objects, pictures, or drawings. It
involves noticing little differences in shapes, lengths and widths of lines.

Candidate Score: Below Average

• Requires close guidance and ample time to execute thorough review of details of simple printed
images.
• Can spot evident similarities and differences in simple images provided with occasional guidance.

As his/her manager, you should:

• Offer constant support to correctly review and identify connections of details on the figures
provided.
• Incorporate image-related tasks gradually. Avoid overloading and start with few simple tasks first
before progressing to more complex assignments.

CANDIDATE OVERALL RANKING

Percentile Rank - a simple definition

Percentile Rank is the positional value of the candidate's score as compared against the Norming Population. Scores are
normally distributed. It is perhaps best understood by an example. You are said to be at the 92nd percentile if your score
(or results) are better than 92 percent of the population against which you are being compared. Essentially, Percentile
Rank gives the overall raw score its meaning.
