PMP® Preparatory Training

This course is designed with the objective of helping participants approach the PMP (Project
Management Professional) certification exam from PMI (Project Management Institute, USA). This
certification applies equally to all industries across the spectrum.

These fall under various knowledge areas of management like, stakeholders, earned value

 Understand the various processes under the 5 process management groups that each project
goes through – Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing
 Gain expertise in the 9 knowledge areas of project management – time, cost, scope, quality,
human resource, communication, procurement, risk & integration
 Get acquainted with the critical project management deliverables, tool and techniques like,
Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), PERT/CPM etc.
 Learn through active classroom discussions with participants from various industries with varied
experiences
 Learn project management concepts from real life examples from the faculty guide and other
participants
