A Cargo Wise Booking System with SMS Notification for YHK Logistics
Company requires the system for having a quick and improved customer transaction to
enhance the sluggish and manual transaction utilizing a website that a YHK Logistics
client will access 24/7 to book a cargo. The client desires a system that would provide
easy access to customer information such as personal information, booking details, and
transaction and payment history in order to monitor and secure the company's data. The
proponents design a system that will accommodate the client's ideas and suggestions. The
client and customer can register and login to the website to utilize the system and proceed
to the booking transaction, and the customer will wait for the website administrator to
accept the quote and pay the remainder online or cash on delivery. The client wants the
customer to be able to complete a transaction for their firm without interruption or delay.
Research Methods
Mrs. Bernadette Marso the IMPEX Manager of YHK Logistics – The person in
charge of obtaining an interview to provide information about the company and to
answer questions from proponents.
The address of the YHK Logistics Company is 63A Howmart Rd, Baesa,
Quezon City, and 1106 Metro Manila, Philippines. Cargo has been popular in the
Company since 1997. Logistics management takes happen in several locations
with freight experience. Unfortunately, they are still using an old or manual
transaction to get a transaction to their customer after many decades. The process
of the company to get a transaction services and to find the details of the customer
is still a long and slow process, which is why the proponents built the website to
try the company and to have an idea. If the new and innovative system transaction
was seamless and quick for both the client transaction and the staff workload.
The proponents are working on a system that will let the IMPEX
Forwarding department of YHK Logistics Company to monitor client booking
requests and transaction information in order to update their cargo. The admin in
charge of transactions and organizing the pending and ongoing transactions that
the system will implement to the IMPEX Forwarding department office to
manage the corporate transactions the website will required to use an internet to
use the system.
