Subject: - Recovery of Tax Arrears - C/Reg.

Please refer to this office letter C. No. VIII(25)01-

TRC/Misc./2018/1424 (S/L) dated 28.07.2022 on the above subject.

2- As you are aware that close monitoring of Recoverable arrears of

revenue are being under taken by the higher authorities and this office is
regularly sensitizing the field formation in this regard from time to time.

3- It was directed vide aforesaid letter to act vigorously with a time

bound manner but no appreciating result reported till now.

4- As per TAR report total 2570 cases having amount Rs. 3793.02 Lakh
of net recoverable arrear are pending for recovery and only Rs. 65.69 Lakh
has been realized up to August, 2022.

5- After lapses of almost two quarters in the current financial year the
performance of recovery of arrears is not adequate and a focused effort is
required to recover the arrears which are clearly recoverable.

6- In view of above, you are requested to provide the details of net

recoverable arrears in the given format (in excel) for monitoring by higher
authority.
