PRACTICAL RESEARCH 1

Quarter 4 MELC 9

MHEL B. BUSTAMANTE Grade 11 – Descartes (STEM)

Activity 1

Recommendation #1
Since this study covers the teenage mothers and teenage pregnancies, it is
recommended that the participants of this study must undergo several seminars and
counselling such as Family and Sex Education, Pre-Post Natal Check-ups, Self-
Reliance Trainings and Seminars and Research and Development. These self-
development seminars would cater the needs of teenage mothers, and assess their
personal growth.

Recommendation #2
This study pertains only to the struggles of working students, hence it is
recommended that teachers should take into account the needs of working students as
a demonstration of support and understanding. It is also suggested that parents be
aware of the difficulties that their children face as a result of being a working student.
Working students must also be physically and mentally strong in order to deal with their
difficulties. Working students should also practice time management to avoid running
out of time.

Recommendation #3
Leisure activities can be both beneficial and harmful for families who want to
create great family experiences by bringing members closer together and building
familial relationships. Hence, it is recommended that families must utilize the
technological advancements present today. Families can stay connected to their parent
working overseas thanks to the online sphere's rise as a platform for bridging the gap
between persons who are thousands of miles apart. Families left behind can still involve
the OFW parent not only in the planning of their family's leisure activities, but also in the
execution of those activities, thanks to social networking platforms like Skype and
Facebook. While improved technology may help to alleviate some of the time and space
constraints associated with keeping a family close, family members should be aware of
the drawbacks of such methods.

Recommendation #4
This study recommends that students should know how to balance school
activities and life. Also, students must know how to manage their time wisely. Students
must also know their responsibilities and accept it whole-heartedly. And lastly, students
must also learn how to reach out to their instructors and classmates.
Recommendation #5
Since this study focused on the single mothers of school children, it is
recommended that a same study must be conducted to single fathers also of school
children. It is also recommended that solo mothers must cope with the problems and
hardships in lone parenting responsibilities. Accepting the realities that life has to offer,
and learning how to live with it. And lastly, it is recommended that single mothers have
to adopt the proposed activities, and programs to improve their life situation.

Reflection

1. I learned that the primary purpose of providing recommendations is to discuss

how the findings of the study could be used to improve the present situation. I
also learned that recommendations must specify what should be done, the steps
required to implement a policy, and the resources needed. And
recommendations may include discussion of the benefits to the organization and
what problems would be corrected or avoided.
2. I will continue to study this topic because it will help me formulate
recommendations for the betterment of results and conclusions of the research
study that I will be conducting sooner or later.
