REPORTS TO: Maintenance Planning Supervisor Not Key Position (NKP)

WORK SCOPE
 Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
 Provides directional support, training and mentoring to the maintenance staff in the:day to day facility /
plant maintenance activities associated to planning, scheduling, work execution processes and reporting
for scheduled maintenance plans

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Responsible and accountable the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities:
 Oversight and development of maintenance Work Packs (includes job plans and cost estimates)
 Planning and scheduling optimization for maintenance planned activities
 Issuance of daily maintenance activity plans to respective crafts
 Collecting and processing of spare parts data for ongoing warehouse (WH) and materials
optimization
 Development of purchasing recommendations for materials Min / Max stocking levels, safety
stock and lot sizes
 Provide guidance, training and hands on support to the maintenance staff on the use and functionality of
Companies computerized maintenance management system, North American Production Enterprise
System (NAPES)
 Ensures compliance with the Work Management System
 Develop work scope for turn-arounds
 Liaise and assist in planning and scheduling activities for scheduled maintenance and inspection
requirements for Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and support groups
 Responsible for Key Performance Indicator ( KPI ) data gathering and reporting
 Maintenance input for Vendor / Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repairs
 Interface with Vendor / OEM to obtain equipment data and spare parts information
 Responsible for ensuring Production Best Practices (PBP) and Maintenance & Reliability (M&R)
expectations are followed
 Ensures all Governmental regulations, Company requirements and all applicable project specific
inspection and safety requirements are followed
 A leading proponent of the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) process and ensures all maintenance activities are
conducted in a safe and effective manner by all maintenance technicians, employee and contractors
 Ensures supervisor(s) are informed of major issues and safety concerns
 Ensures good communication across all facilities, to include operators, so maintenance issues can be
adequately addressed and actions completed
 Facilitates the Risk Based Work Selection process meetings with cross functional work teams to ensure
the safest and most effective use of maintenance personnel
 Ensure ExxonMobil’s Management of Change (MOC) process are strictly adhered to
 Liaise closely with the Procurement and Materials / Warehouse functional groups

EDUCATION AND WORK QUALIFICATIONS

 Twelfth grade ( 12 ) secondary education or equivalent certificate, preferably enhanced by technical


school and/or university courses

 Five years plus ( 5+ ) experience in Oil and Gas Production and Operations or similar industry
experience with emphasis on plant maintenance support, wellhead to product export
 Five years plus ( 5+ ) experience as mechanical, electrical, or instrument technician
 Five years plus ( 5+ ) experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System data management,
preferably Systems Application Program (SAP)

 Good understanding of Vendor / OEM layout, component and spare parts cross sectional drawings
 Good understanding to all aspects of gas and liquid production, wellhead to export sales, and
pipelines facilities with strong emphasis on processing
 Good understanding of process and safety control systems, components and device to include fire
and gas detection system equipment items
 Good understanding of diesel and turbine driven package units, power generation, compression
packages, process and instrument air, and utility support systems eg:
 Gas turbine power and compression
 Water Treatment / Injection
 Sewage Treatment
 Fire water mist systems
 Chemical Injection
 Heavy lifting equipment and cranes
 Knowledge of safety management tools and processes.(Stepback 5x5, JSA, Risk Assessment)
