LESSON PLAN

I. Starting:
Warm up: word chain game.
II. Main lesson:
1. Review:
- Teacher reviews animals in the previous lessons.
- Students answer “Where is/are (the animals)?” questions by using “in, on,
under”
2. Main lesson:
- Lesson 3A: story
+ Teacher points at people in the story and ask their names; students answer.
+ Teacher writes the title “Be safe” on the board and introduces the story.
+ Teacher opens the video story.
+ Students watch the video and read the story.
+ Students listen again and act it out.
- Lesson 3B: listening
+ Teacher opens practicing exercise in star note, students listen and choose the
correct picture.
+ Teacher points at each picture and explains how to finish the task.
+ Students listen to the audio and circle the answer.
+ Teacher asks students to make the “x” answer become correct.
+ Students finish the exercises in star note.
+ All students look at the pictures and act the story again.
- Game: who is the fastest?

+ Teacher points to the first picture and act the first example out, students listen
and repeat.
+ Students work in pairs and act it out for the rest pictures.

- Workbook pages 56 + 57 (students can finish 1 page at class if there is
enough time)
III. Check again:
- Teacher reviews one more time and checks students’ understanding about
the lesson again.
