Being a good Filipino citizen or a just a citizen of your country isn’t a transformation and makeover that

you can just do or make happen overnight. A good Filipino citizen acts for the good of their community,
peers, and their people. Having a moral compass that keeps their values and principles intact and their
priorities straight.

A good Filipino citizen is informed with facts and uses valid information to educate and spread
awareness. Knowing how to follow rules and regulations that is implemented by the government or
even just the facilities in the country. Detesting any political figure whose track record in public service
is marred with corruption.

Just being a good citizen in general is when they are never apolitical about the stuff that is happening in
their country, keeping yourself well informed about the important issues in the country and by trying to
let your voice be heard in the community making your environment much better as possible. Be Vigilant.
A country depends on a well-informed and civic minded population to safeguard the people’s individual
freedoms and political rights. A good citizen remains vigilant in order to ascertain that the government is
doing all things that it should executing. I f a citizen believes that the government is overstepping its
bounds or failing in its duties, the citizen must speak up.

Having Integrity as a core value for being a good citizen, by being honest and having a strong moral
principles and uprightness. Having the desire for unity, wholeness and togetherness for the community
and country as a drive to do better. Choosing the most efficient and just actions that will benefit and
help the current society that we are in right now. Having a moral courage to stand their own ground for
what they consider right, standing up for what is wrong and defend those who cannot defend
themselves. Being aware of their own actions and being responsible for its consequences and on how it
affects other people in the community.

Being God centered by putting God first and allowing all activity in life to flow from the premise that
God's priorities are the priorities of the individual. As it was stated that “Love your neighbors as you love
yourself”, always considering their every actions if it will be benefit or negative effects on your
community.

Representing the country as a good ambassador, Seeing himself as one with his fellow Filipinos,
regardless of wealth or class or appearance or religion or gender. Bringing yourself closer as a family
rather than just by being in the same country.

A good citizen contributes to their nation by being productive. They’re productive employees, business
owners, artists, public servants, caregivers, and so on. Good citizens share their skills, talents, and
abilities with others. They make a positive contribution to their nation and by being active in their
community. They participate in the social life of their city or town, and they look for ways to make their
communities a better place to live. That is, if they see a problem in their community they look for ways
to solve it.
