Remarks:
The LR Committee in our school is actually doing a good system in terms of updating or monitoring the LR Material that the
Teachers must download routinely but the problem is that there are specialized subjects in Senior High School has no
materials available like Practical research 2 and other subjects that are not inputted with necessary LR materials for Teachers
and Students.
Reflection:

Learning Resources are actually of great help to us teachers in delivering the

necessary learnings or competencies that the learners must have learned at the end of
the day. But I came to realize that these portals are not actually being utilize to its full
extent for some reasons like some of the materials are maybe not applicable to the level
of the learners, materials are lacking in its content and needs revisions and/or there are
some subjects that are not inputted with learning materials like some subjects in senior
high school e.g. Practical Research and the rest of the specialized subjects which are of
importance in terms of helping the students and the instructors as well in imparting the
necessary skills and competencies learners must have learned.
In the new normal of educational system we are in now, we have to use all the
means that we have on hand like looking at different learning resources to still, continue
deliver the quality education to our learners amidst pandemic. I realized how significant
being utilitarianism in terms of using all the means in teaching. I appreciated the effort of
Department of Education in providing support to our Teachers in the field like the creation
of DepEd Commons and LRMDS Portals which is packed with learning materials for both
Junior High and Senior High School. The point is we just have to be resourceful at
present and use all resources as possible to aid the learnings of our learners in the
community.
