    MEANS OF TRANSPORT

    Nowadays, there are a lot of means of transport like railways, lorries, super-
    efficient courier services…
    People often forget the donkeys. These animals are very important to transport
    food to the towns and bring back fertilisers to the countryside. Donkeys are very strong.
    They are animals easy to look after, if you give them a good nutrition.
    The railways started in Ancient Greece. In the first years, the railways travelled
    short distances to carry heavy raw materials and finished goods. This mean of transport
    is very expensive but essential to the economy.
    Around the 19th century, travelled the first passengers in horse- drawn carriages
    on the railways. In 1890, Britain was connected by railways using steam engines.
    To wrap up my article, I will talk about airplanes. Airplanes were developed in
    the 20th century. They can transport passengers or couriers. It´s the fastest mean of
    transport and its price changes depending on the type of airplane.
