The Legend of Toba Lake.

Once upon a time there was a young boy who was so hot, his name was Toba. Even though
he was poor he didn’t want to lay on anybody. One day, Toba had a plan to go fishing.

“Hm.. I had a plan to go fishing. Hahaha.. I can eat or sell fish.”

Toba was already caught some fishes. Then suddenly, he was surprised by a beautiful golden
fish. Then he put the fish from the hook.

“this fish is so beautiful but its colour is kinda weird. I’ve never seen this extra shiny golden
fish before.” A bright light came out from the golden fish. And suddenly, it changed into a beautiful
young girl.

“W-Wh-Who are you?!” Toba was scared.

“Don’t be afraid of me. I’m a princess from heaven. My name is Putri. I have been cursed to
be fish by my father. Now, I will give whatever you need to show you my gratitude.”

Toba asked Putri to love him. Toba decided to marry Putri.

“Okay I will marry you in one condition. Don’t you dare to talk about my past. Not at anyone.
Not at anybody ever!”

“ohoho. Okay I promise I will not tell your past at anyone. Not at anybody ever”

And soon they got married, then lived happily. Several month to that. Finally Putri delivered
a baby boy.

“Wohoho. I’m so exited. I’m extremely happy for you my son. I will name you Samosir.”

But Samosir grow to disappoint his mother. Everyday Putri had to give everything that
Samosir asked. Samosir grew up to be bad boy with an extra huge appetite. Everyday, Putri had to
cook many-many food for Samosir only.

“I want fried fish mam now now now!!!!” but it was how Samosir asked for food like literally
everyday.

Until one day, Toba had to work on the field. He asked Putri to make him some food. But
Samosir eat that too.

“Samosir, do you eat the food for your father?! Stop it!”

“I want this more, now now now!!!”

Samosir eat everything that Putri cooked for Toba. No longer after that, Toba came home.
But Toba realized that there is no food for him. Toba was starving and upset. He said to Samosir, “
You! One ungrateful boy. Oh my God, did you even have any food for me! Why did you eat all day
without any guilt. You son of a fish!!”

Hearing that, Putri was so shocked. No longer after that, Putri and Samosir was disappeared.
Toba was so upset. He keep calling their name.

“Oh no! my wife! My son! Please come back now!. This is all my fault!”
Toba was so sad. All he could do was watching much and much water came out from their
footprints. Until it became a lake with a small island in the centre. Today the lake known as Danau
Toba and the small island in the centre known as Pulau Samosir.

That is my story. From this story we can learn that keeping promise is important, if we keep
our promises it will bring a longer relationship. Thankyou!
