I. Cách sử dụng make, do, take, get
1) Make
- Make up one’s mind: quyết định
- Make a fortune: làm giàu, gây dựng gia tài
- Make friend: kết bạn
- Make a mess: làm hỏng gì đó, gây rắc rối
- Make lunch/breakfast/dinner: nấu bữa trưa/sáng/tối
2) Do
- Do someone’s favour: giúp đỡ
- Do one’s best: làm hết sức
- Do something right/wrong: làm gì đó đúng/sai
- Do sb/st harm: gây hại với ai/cái gì
3) Take
- Take a photo: chụp ảnh
- Take a long time: mất nhiều thời gian
- Take care: chăm sóc
- Take a shower: tắm
- Take a two tables a day: dùng 2 … 1 ngày
- Take a nap: đánh 1 giấc
4) Get
- Get ready: sẵn sàng
- Get a cold: bị cảm lạnh
- Get on well with: có mối quan hệ tốt với
- Get angry: tức giận
- Get drink: uống gì đó

II. Câu điều kiện loại 1

 Định nghĩa: thường dùng để đặt ra 1 điều kiện có thể có thật ở Hiện Tại hoặc
Tương lai với kết quả có thể xảy ra.
 Công thức:
If + S + V(s/es), S + will/can/shall + V-inf + (O)
(must/may)
 Cách dùng:
1) Câu điều kiện loại 1 dùng để chỉ sự việc có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương
lai
 EX: If I get up early in the morning, I will go to school on time. 
2) Câu điều kiện loại 1 có thể sử dụng để đề nghị và gợi ý
 EX: If you need a ticket, I can get you one.
 3) Câu điều kiện loại 1 dùng để cảnh báo hoặc đe dọa
 EX: If you come in, he will kill you. 

Lưu ý:
 Có thể sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn trong cả hai mệnh đề.
EX: If David has any money, he spends it.
 Có thể sử dụng “will” trong mệnh đề IF khi đưa ra 1 yêu cầu.
EX: If you’ll wait a moment, I’ll find someone to help you.
 Có thể sử dụng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn hoặc hiện tại hoàn thành trong mệnh đề
IF: If + S + present continuous/present perfect, S + will + V_inf
Ex: If you are studying, I will not disturb you.
 Trường hợp câu mệnh lệnh:
Sử dụng công thức:
If + S + simple present, (Don’t) + V-inf

III. When, while, as, till, until, as soon as, once, before, after, by the time, as
long as, …. + mệnh đề
1) Một hành động xảy ra thì một hành động khác xen vào:
S + Ved + while + S + V (past continuous)
as
S + V (past continuous) when + S + Ved
2) Chuỗi sự việc trong quá khứ:
S + Ved + when + S + Ved
until
before
after
as soon as
3) Hai hành động diễn ra song song:
S + V (past continuous) while + S + V (past continuous)
4) Hành động sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai sau khi kết thúc hành động nào đó
(nhấn mạnh đến sự hoành thành của hành động trước khi hành động khác xảy ra)

5) Đối với hiện tại hoàn thành, sau since + Ved
S + V (present perfect) since + S + Ved
6) Hành động hoàn thành trước hành động khác trong quá khứ

 IV. Direction
1) Phrase:

V. Role of technology in our life

Over the last 200 years, human have seen massive provement and changed the way
technological revolution.
Technology has infiltrated every aspect of our lives, changing how we work, how we
learn and how we shop. It’s inevitable that our devices begin to reflect our civic
aspirations – our desires to connect with other and to contribute to the world around
us. The Internet and related tools already play critical roles. There’s no doubt that
technology helps businesses achieve more in less time, saving on employee costs or
having them work in areas where they are really needed. In education, technology
provide teacher for resources, better understanding through graphics, save time and
money, helps student learn much and better.
Connecting globally, enhance companionship no matter distance. Help people keep up
with the world’s development, increase bond among ethnic groups on global.

VI. Travel addicts

Ben returned from his travels just six months ago and now he wants to go traveling
again. He spent two years travelling with his girlfriend, Jane. They visited 14
countries, wathched till works over the Sydney Opera House at New Year, saw the sun
rise over the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia and spent his 31st birthday on a Thai
beach. It was the best year of their lives with no work, no boss and no worries. They
love having the freedom but coming back was awful. They had huge debts, had to find
work. The routine of getting up, going to work, going home, … sleeping … and
getting up again is just about killing him. He’s finding it difficult to do what other
people tell him to do. Then before he went travelling, he worried about earning
money, buying a bigger car, a house … But how he’s back and don’t care about those
things anymore. He living like a student again and saving all his money.

VII. What do you thing page 76

1) I would like to talk about Phu Quoc Island – tropical paradise of Vietnam and
the world. It has a roughly triangular shape with a worth – south length of 50km
and a west – east width of 25km. Its clamate is sub – equatorial with a
temperate weather all year round. However the best time to travel to this island
is during the dry season from November until Match, when the sky is blue and
clear and the rain are away.
2) Yes, they’re being ruined by too many people
When a place is visited by too many people creating bad impact on the
environment, animal or the local community. Tourism can bring bad and
negative consequences. For example: increase waste in the area cause strain to
local waste management and can further cause local communities to suffer from
health issue, impact our planet negatively
3) The Amazon rainforest, is a most broad leaf tropical rainforest in the
Amazonbiome that cover most of the Amazon basin of South America. This
basin encompasses 7.000.000 km2
But I don’t want to go there because it has many insect species about 2,5
million. The rainforest contains several species that can pose a hazard. Among
the largest predatory creatures are the jaguar, cougar. In the river, electric ells
can produce an electric shock that can stun or kill. This things make me feel like
I’m scared to be here.
