Personal Stress Coping Plan

Stress can be managed at an optimal level that benefits us.


A personal stress coping plan provides a guide for us to gain self-awareness when we
are in distress and puts in place a list of coping strategies that help us manage our
stress level.

1 Identify stressors
Think of a situation in which you felt overwhelmed and could not cope.
What happened? What made you feel this way?
Example:
On the first day of school in my new class, I was worried and nervous that my classmates would not like me. In the end, I did not
speak to anyone the whole morning.

Because i also had to attend CCA and carry out my duties


as a CCA President, I was worried that i could not manage
all my commitments equally

You may not be able to control all the events that happen to you but you can choose how you
