With regard to above subject and references (i), this office is in receipt of
submission of Waste to Energy Plant on T.P.S No- 337-P, Shahwadi for review.
The submitted data / drawings under references (1) were not for the high rise
building. The submitted foundation drawings are for Bunker (low rise building). The
representative of structural consultant was informed that the submission for waste to energy
building is still pending and it was decided in meeting on 20/07/2021 that before the next
meeting for review, the data for high rise building will be submitted.
The data / drawings for waste to energy building are submitted but the SBC
report for raft foundation has not been submitted and the review meeting with structural
representative is still pending.
Hereby you are requested to inform the structural consultant to hold the
meeting as early as possible.

With reference to above subject and letter under references (1), this office has received
submission for Waste to Energy Plant on T.P.S No- 337-P, Shahwadi for opinion. In this context the
joint meeting held on 16/09/2021 vide letter under reference (4). Looking to this the structure is
designed by working stress method but as per prevailing practice the design by limit state method is
much desirable.
After that the joint meeting held on 16/11/2021 vide letter under reference (5). Based on
our technical comments M/s DELF Consulting Engineers (INDIA) Pvt. Ltd. has submitted further data
vide letter under reference under (6). Now, design consultant may be asked to present in person, the
compliance of design comments/technical discussion for the same.

With regard to above subject and letter under references (10), review of Design Basis
Report & Presentation on structural systems by Technical Representatives of Design Consultant M/S
DELF Consulting Engineers (INDIA) Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, has been carried out by this office. The
project consists of 80TPH water tube boiler top support steel structure of 51.0 mt above ground level.
Detailed design shall be prepared considering Geotechnical Investigation Report at the
location and various relevant provisions of National Building Code.
The submitted structural GA drawings and design philosophy as expressed in the
Design Basis Report by the Structural Consultant and approved by the Structural Expert for the
structure under consideration is generally found in order, however it shall, in no way relieve the
contractor, the structural consultant & the structural expert for the correctness of the design and
soundness, durability, strength and stability of the structure. Also quality control & quality assurance
aspects need to be adequately observed during the construction.
The Design Basis is generally found in order.
