Subject: AMOTM21-001 – Discrepancies while completing maintenance documentation
Dear Certifying Staff,
It has come to our attention that maintenance work steps are not being properly followed while completing
maintenance documentation.

For example, it was observed during a recent audit by the Quality Department that the “Void Task Cards”
section of the CRS page of an aircraft that was released after base maintenance was left blank when there
were a number of Void Task Cards for the mentioned work package:

All void Task Cards must be entered into the “Void Task Cards” column before signing the CRS document.

Additionally, it was observed that the “Base Maintenance Release Checklist” had been signed off before the
aircraft had been released to service. This is also incorrect as the CRS shall be completed before ticking the
box on the “Base Maintenance Release Checklist”.

As such, kindly keep the points mentioned above in mind while filling out maintenance documentation in
the future. Also please note that we shall be monitoring this issue. Repeat offenders shall be identified and
disciplinary action shall be taken if necessary.

As such, kindly ensure that the procedures mentioned above are followed without fail in the future.

Thank you,

Technical Services
