HRD / CEO : Please come in.

Pegawai baru memasuki ruangan

HRD / CEO : Good evening. My name is Robert. And I am the owner of this company. Please
have your sit.

Pegawai baru : Thank you Robert. I am Jane Frost. It's nice to meet you.

HRD / CEO : How are you doing Jane?

Pegawai baru : Yes, I am fine.

HRD / CEO : Okay Jane, today I will take your interview. So let's start.

Pegawai baru : Yeah, sure.

HRD / CEO : Welcome to Modern Design company. We are a Graphic & Editing company.
And we are looking for a designer in our company.

Pegawai baru : Oh! Great.

HRD / CEO : So, are you fresher?

Pegawai baru : No, actually I worked in a marketing company. And now I am looking for a
better opportunity.

HRD / CEO : Nice. Can I have your resume?

Pegawai baru : Sure, here you go.

HRD / CEO : Okay Jane. Now tell me a little about yourself.

Pegawai baru : I went to the University of California and majored in Graphic Design. I started
my career at a marketing company. I worked there about two years. Now I want
to work in a progressive company with more creative members.
HRD / CEO : Oh! Nice. We have a lot of creative departments and designers. And they are so
friendly. Hope you will like that.

Pegawai baru : That's great. I would like to work with them, to share my creativity and learn
from others.

HRD / CEO : So, you are a good learner. And this work place is so friendly and comfortable.

Pegawai baru : Yes, I am so excited.

HRD / CEO : Okay Jane. Now tell me what is your strength?

Pegawai baru : I believe my strongest trait is my attention to detail. And I have always been a
great team player. I am good at keeping a team together and producing quality
work in a team environment.

HRD / CEO : Great. So where do you see yourself, in next five years?

Pegawai baru : In five years, I see myself as a valued employee of this company. I want to be an
expert at my position and start training to be a manager. Also my goal is to
become a lead in five years. Although not everyone gets promoted to this level, I
believe I can achieve this goal through hard work.

HRD / CEO : What does success mean to you Jane?

Pegawai baru : Success means to achieve a goal I have set for myself. Success means to produce
high quality work before the deadline.

HRD / CEO : Nice answer. Can you work well under pressure?

Pegawai baru : I enjoy working under pressure because I believe it helps me grow. In my
previous experience, I always worked well during deadlines, and I always learned
how to work more efficiently afterwards.

HRD / CEO ; So, how do you make important decisions?

Pegawai baru : I gather all the information I can find and based on the information, I'll come to
the best decision I can. If I know a coworker was in a similar situation, I wouldn't
hesitate to find out the results to make sure my decision is the best one.
HRD / CEO : Okay Jane. Interview done. Do you have any question for me?

Pegawai baru : No, I think I have a pretty good understanding of the job. I believe that I can
handle it with ease, and I hope to have the opportunity to work for you.

HRD / CEO : Yeah I hope so. Nice meeting you Jane. Thank you for coming.

Pegawai baru : Nice meeting you too. And thank you so much.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Office communication is necessary to make contacts, understand the goals, share

ideas, share information and give instructions. What do you usually communicate with
colleagues at the company?

Pegawai baru : Hi. I'm Tom. Today is my first day working here.

Resepsionis : Hi. I have been informed that you are coming today. My name's Linda. I'm the
receptionist. Nice to meet you.

Pegawai baru : Nice to meet you too, Linda.

Resepsionis : Please, take the elevator to the 2nd floor and enter the first room on the left.

Pegawai baru : Ok.

Resepsionis : Let's sit in that room and wait a minute. Your instructor will arrive soon.

Pegawai baru : Thank you.

Naik lift, lalu berjalan menuju ruangannya.

Officer tour : hallo good morning.

Pegawai baru : Good morning.

Officer tour : I'm ferdila. I'll be assisting you with your training assignment.

Pegawai baru : “
OT : “ nice too meet you”

Pegawai baru : Nice to meet you too. Where should we start?

Officer tour : The first is the working time. You will work from 9 am to 5 am. You have a 1
hour break at noon.

Pegawai baru : Are there any company rules I should know?

Officer tour : Here are some basic rules in the company. Please, read it. If you have something
you don't know, just ask me.

Pegawai baru : Thank you. I will.

Officer tour : Let's take a tour around the company, and I I will take you to your desk.. Finally,
I will introduce you to everyone

Pegawai baru : Ok. Let's go.

OFFICE TOUR

OT : “okay miss diza, this will be your desk and this is your chair. This is your computer. This is
your telephone, and these are your files”

Pegawai baru : “wow!, i m so excited”

OT : “off course, and and this is another stationery”

Pegawai baru : “Thanks”

OT : ”you’re welcome”

Pegawai baru : “by the way, a moment ago I didn’t hear your name”

OT: “oh, my name is Linda”

Pegawai baru : “yes Linda, can you tell me where I can find the printer?

OT : “it’s in the right corner”

Pegawai baru : “So, if I need to send a fax, where is the fax machine?”
OT: “the fax machine is under the table, and the coffee machine, it’s at the end of the hall. You
can use it at anytime”

Pegawai baru : “okay, thanks”

OT: “if you have something you don’t know just ask me, and now I will introduce you to the
everyone”

Pegawai baru : “okay, thank you so much”

OT : “ good morning guys,

ALL : morninggg

OT : I have an announcement to make. Could you all please gather here ?

ALL : Yes we can

OT : “ we have a new member of our team from today. Diza”

Pegawai baru : “ Hai”

OT : “ please tell them about yourself”

Pegawai baru : “ hi everone, my name is john, I’m 20 yo, I’m from jepang. I will be working in
the designer.

A-B : “ hai john”

Pegawai lama A : “welcomee, I’m susan. What were you doing before joining our team?

PB : “ I just finish my college degree in designer. This is my first job”

Pegawai lama A : “ its good to have you here, john”

PB : “ how long have been here?”

A : “ I have been here for 3 years”

PB “ oh yeah, and you?”

Pegawai lama B : “ yeah, im mark. Nice to meet you. Ive been here for. 4 years.”

PB : “ thank you, nice to meet you too. I look forward to recerving help of everyone in my
work.”

B : “ do you live for from here?”

PB : “not very far, about 4km”

B : “we are happy to have you here, john. Come see us if you have any questions”

PB : “ thnk guys, see you.”
