PROPOSAL FOR A SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PORTAL

1.1 Description
A School Management System Portal is designed to facilitate the recording, collating,
analyzing, accessing, reporting, and retrieving of pupils/students’ data and information. These
data and information include but not limited to bio data (photographs, personal details, etc.),
class attendance statistics, continuous assessment scores, exam scores, cumulative and class
average in each term and also of all terms at the end of the session for each subject, position in
each subject, overall positions, etc.

1.2 Features
Our school management portal is uniquely and professionally designed to proffer
technological solutions that will eliminate the stress of traditional and manual ways of managing
school records and pupils/students’ academic data and information. Our website is problem-
solving, innovative, fast, upgradeable, etc. We have developed it to be responsive, attractive, and
user-friendly which we believe will help to project our clients’ schools more to the world. The
portal comprises different types of users. Each category of users has sets of activities that can be
performed, and they will have distinctive privileges on how and what they can access on the
portal.

1.2.2 Functionalities of the Portal According to Users

i. Admins/Teachers/Parents/Students shall be able to sign in to the system.

they forget.
iv. Admins shall be able to register new teachers, with their names,
signatures, and then assigning them classes and signing in passwords.
v. Admins shall be able to post news and events, into the news section of the
website
vi. Admins shall be able to post videos into the gallery section of the website.
vii. Admins shall be able to select from the news, events, and the videos
sections ones that will appear on the home page.
viii. Admins shall be able to edit teachers’ details.
ix. Admins shall be able to view all teachers.
x. Admins shall be able to delete teachers.
xi. Admins shall be able to add new class.
xii. Admins shall be able to view all classes.
xiii. Admins shall be able to edit class.
xiv. Admins shall be able to promote all the pupils/students in the class
together automatically.

xlvi. Visitors shall only be able to read about the school information, read news,
events, watch videos, etc. on the website.
xlvii. Visitors shall be able to send message to the school through the school
official email address on the website. E.g. contact@schoolname.sch.ng.

+ There will be flexible and affordable pricing package due to the fact that our first targets
are Muslim schools and we got to know that companies are changing very exorbitant pricing
selling it. We in fact allow payment on installments.

+ There can be desktop based version that will be installed on a single system
