Procedures:
 To determine the volume, fill a tumbler with water to the top.
 Note the final weight of the beaker, after weighing the beaker add water to measure the
total weight
 Calculate the weight of the beaker by deducting it from the total water weight.
 Convert water from g to ml. It is written as 1g of water = 1 ml
 Calculate the notebook's dimensions in centimeters (cm) using a ruler, then multiply
those values. (Length, Width, Height)
 Measure the first volume after adding water to the graduated cylinder.
 Carefully insert the pestle into the graduated cylinder. And measure the second volume
 Subtract the first volume to the second volume V= v2-v1.

Materials needed:

Procedure:
 First, we fill the graduated cylinder with 60ml of water.
 The 50ml beaker was then added to with 12ml of Acid.
 Third, pour the 60ml of water into the Erlenmeyer flask using the glass funnel.
 Fourth, we added 12ml of acid to the Erlenmeyer container that contained the water.
 Fifth, we stir it until everything is well incorporated.
 Sixth, using a triple Beam Balance, we now calculate the volume and mass of the diluted
acid.

 Mass: 150.4 - 233 = 72.6

Material needed:
 Stirring rod
 Glass pipette
 Glass funnel
 Graduated cylinder
 100ml beaker
 Triple beam balance
 Weighing scale

Procedure:
 Use a triple beam balance to measure the mass of an empty 100ml beaker.
 Use a glass pipette to prepare 8ml of orange propylene glycol, then temporarily
store it in a 50ml Beaker.
 Prepare 56 ml of water in a 100 ml beaker.
 While swirling, add 8 ml of orange propylene glycol to the water.
 Utilize a triple beam balance to determine the solution's mass. Mass of the solution
is subtracted from the mass of the empty container.
 Using a glass funnel, transfer the solution into a graduated cylinder.

 13.7 grams of Sucrose

 Thermometer

Procedure:
 Carefully weigh 13.7g of sucrose in one beaker and 88.3g of water in another beaker.
 Use the thermometer to gauge the water's temperature after heating the beaker with 88.3g of
water to 60C.
 Carefully transfer the beaker to the hot plate once the temperature reaches 60C. 13.7g of sucrose
should be added to boiling water, then stirred until no longer visible in the water.
