C WARNING – This alert warns of a potential hazard, which, if not avoided, can cause severe injury.
C CAUTION – This alert warns of a hazard or unsafe practice which, if not avoided, can cause injury
or damage.
NOTE – An absence of specific alerts does not mean that there are no safety risks involved.
Warnings
C WARNING – When you are working on the vehicle’s hydraulic systems, vehicle attachments that
are suspended can drop. If you are working around the vehicle, you could suffer serious injury if an
attachment dropped on you. To avoid this risk, lower all vehicle attachments to the ground before
you begin work.
C WARNING – If someone else attempts to drive the vehicle while you are working on or under it,
you can suffer serious or fatal injuries. To avoid this possibility, install a lockout box on the battery
terminal to prevent the battery from being reconnected, remove the key from the vehicle’s
ignition switch, and attach a “Do not operate” tag in the cab.
C WARNING – Agricultural chemicals can pose serious health risks. If the vehicle has been used to
apply agricultural chemicals, steam clean the vehicle to remove any chemical residue from the
areas of the vehicle where you will be working.
C WARNING – Vehicle cabs can be quite high in the air. To avoid potentially serious injury through
falling from this height, always use the steps and handrails, and face the vehicle, when you enter
or exit it.
Cautions
C CAUTION – When the vehicle has been running, parts of the vehicle, including the engine and
exhaust, can become extremely hot and can cause serious burns. To avoid burns, allow hot
machine parts to cool before you begin working on them.
C CAUTION – The system installation may bring you into contact with chemical substances, such
as oil, which can cause poisoning. Wash your hands thoroughly after you finish working on the
system.
C CAUTION – Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds,
which can cause serious illness. To avoid ingesting lead, wash your hands thoroughly after
touching the battery.
C CAUTION – Always wear protective equipment appropriate to the job conditions and the nature
of the vehicle. This includes wearing protective glasses when you use pressurized air or water, and
correct protective welder’s clothing when welding. Avoid wearing loose clothing or jewelry that
can catch on machine parts or tools.
C CAUTION – Parts of the vehicle may be under pressure. To avoid injury from pressurized parts,
relieve all pressure in oil, air, and water systems before you disconnect any lines, fittings, or
related items. To avoid being sprayed by pressurized liquids, hold a rag over fill caps, breathers, or
hose connections when you remove them. Do not use your bare hands to check for hydraulic
leaks. Use a board or cardboard instead.
Set the hose pressure as low as practicable, and spray at a 45° to 90° angle. Keep the nozzle of
the power washer away from the machine at the distance recommended by the manufacturer.
C CAUTION – To prevent damage to the system, make sure that no wires or hoses interfere with or
catch on any mechanical linkages, or contact any machine parts that get hot.

Step 2
The Power, ground, switched power, and CAN
are all located on the same black 12-pin
Deutsch connector, labeled X4250S.
Remove this connection (if connected), and
plug in the supplied CAN interface cable
(P/N 113265).
Step 1
Open the hatch, and then remove the four screws
which hold the plastic trim around the perimeter.
You may need to apply some force and pry it off
using your fingers.
Step 2
Close the hatch, then remove the six bolts
(circled) which hold the hinged plate in place. The
red cable will prevent the plate from falling
completely. Exercise caution once the bolts are
removed, as the hinges do not hold the plate
securely.
Step 3
Temporarily remove any connections and cable
retention clips which will prevent the removal of
the plate.
Step 4
Undo the clip that attaches the red cable to the
plate.
Remove the plate by grabbing it securely, sliding
it slightly to the left, and then lifting.
Step 5
Place the NAV-900 controller approximately in
the center to visualize the final placement. The
connectors should point to the left, with the
hinged edge of the plate farthest away from you.
Step 6
The placement of the NAV-900 controller needs
to be fairly precise in order to fit within the
confined area of the roof hatch. The center of the
bottom left thru-hole should be 188 mm from the
left edge of the plate, and 92 mm from the
bottom edge, as pictured.
Step 7
The mounting hole pattern is slightly rectangular,
measuring approximately 151 x 130. It is
recommended to make a paper template for
accurate drilling. Use a center punch or a center
drill to start an accurate center hole for each of
the four mounting holes.
Step 8
Locate the hardware set which is included with
the P/N 109315 NAV-900 controller mounting kit.
Step 9
Use the four bolts with locking compound and
washers to secure the NAV-900 controller to the
plate. Use a 10 mm wrench or socket.
Step 10
Replace the plate on the roof hatch and then
replace all of the hardware and trim.

Step 2
Loosen the clamp arm sufficiently to get
over both the ball on the display, as well as
the ball on the base mount.
Step 3
Position the display as desired, with good
view-ability by the operator, and then
tighten the handle to fix in place.
C WARNING – If the machine has a master electrical disconnect, ensure that the display/receiver
is disconnected from the battery when the master disconnect is used. Failure to do so may result
in hardware damage and void warranty. Additionally, it is suggested to utilize power terminals
located within the cab of the vehicle that ground in the same location as the cab components to
avoid ground shifts between the display and any vehicle ECUs.
Step 2
Using a sharp utility knife, cut an “X” across the
center of the plug, just large enough to allow
the two cables to pass through.
Step 3
Take a photo or otherwise record the pinouts of
the 6-pin and 3-pin connections on the
GFX-750 power cable.
Remove the wires from the connectors. This is
necessary to fish the cable through the
confined space within the roof liner.
Step 4
Feed both cables through the rubber plug.
Step 5
Remove the plastic cubby to the left of the
AM/FM radio. It is simply held in with plastic
clips.
Step 6
Remove the 8 screws which secure the
diagnostic and accessory power panel to the
roof liner.
Step 7
Remove the white cavity plug from the bottom
left corner of the panel. This is where the
GFX-750 power and data cables will be located
in the roof liner.
Step 8
Begin routing the cables from the round hole in
the roof liner towards the cavity to the left of
the AM/FM radio.
Step 9
Continue routing the cables towards the rear of
the cab until you reach the accessory panel,
then routing them through the now-vacant
hole.
Step 10
Re-attach the accessory panel.
Step 11
Insert the wires back into the 6-pin Deutsch
connector on the GFX-750 power cable.
Step 12
Plug the power cable and BRR data cable into
the back of the GFX-750 display.
Step 13
Replace the plastic cubby next to the radio.
Step 14
Reinstall the rubber plug back into the roof
liner.
Step 2
Remove sun screen by removing the two
Philips screws which hold it in place.
Step 3
Remove the mirror by sliding it up.
Step 4
Remove the mirror bracket with a Philips driver.
Step 5
Remove the right speaker.
Step 6
Remove the front portion of the weather
stripping which holds the fabric roof liner to the
roof by pulling firmly by hand.
Step 7
Cut a hole or notch to allow enough room for
the cables to fit through and be routed around
the reinforced plastic structure, A hole saw or
high-speed rotary tool is recommended for this
process.
Step 8
Take a photo or otherwise record the pinouts of
the 6-pin and 3-pin connections on the
GFX-750 power cable.
Remove the wires from the connectors. This is
necessary to fish the cable through the
confined space within the roof liner.
Step 9
Route the GFX-750 power cable and BRR data
cables from the newly drilled hole towards the
right speaker.
Step 10
Pull the cables behind the roof liner until they
emerge at the top of the A-pillar.
Step 11
Route the cables down the A-pillar behind the
plastic trim until they reach the accessory
mounting rail.
Step 12
Insert the wires back into the 6-pin Deutsch
connector on the GFX-750 power cable.
Step 13
Plug in the power and BRR data cables into the
back of the GFX-750 display. Replace all of the
fasteners, mirror, and plastic trim.
Step 2
Remove the plastic cubby to the left of the
AM/FM radio.
Step 3
Remove the speaker cover and speaker using
Torx drivers.
Step 4
Remove the mirror from the A-pillar by
grabbing it and sliding it upwards. Then,
remove the mirror bracket with an Allen key
and Torx drivers.
Step 5
Remove the tan-colored trim screw from the
middle of the A-pillar using a Torx driver.
Step 6
Pull back on the top of the plastic trim to
separate it from the A-pillar.
Step 7
Take a photo or otherwise record the pinouts of
the 6-pin and 3-pin connections on the
GFX-750 power cable.
Remove the wires from the connectors. This is
necessary to fish the cable through the
confined space within the roof liner.
Step 8
Remove the black rubber grommet in the roof
liner just in front of the hatch.
Route the GFX-750 power cable (P/N 110551)
and BRR data cable (P/N 110540) from the roof
hatch to the empty cubby to the left of the
radio.
Step 9
Route the cables from the empty cubby toward
the space behind the right speaker.
Step 10
Route the cables down the A-pillar, and then
replace the plastic trim.
Step 11
Insert the wires back into the 6-pin Deutsch
connector on the GFX-750 power cable.
Step 12
Plug in the power and BRR data cables into the
back of the GFX-750 display. Replace all of the
fasteners, mirror, and plastic trim.
