1. What are the prospects of the Filipino family in the modern world?
Filipinos are known for having strong and close family ties. They place high
regard and put importance on their family before anything else. They work all day and
do all they can to feed and provide for their family. In other countries, when a person
turned 18, he/she can live away from his/her family. Overall, one can observe that
traditional Filipino values have remained the same: family-centered, faith and virtue-
based, sympathetic for others (kapuwa), and education-oriented. Filipinos reiterate the
importance of values related to society such as good governance, love for country,
honesty and integrity. In general, Filipino families are bilaterally extended and
residentially nuclear. Although Filipinos recognize husbands and fathers to be
household heads, the family structure continues to be egalitarian in giving importance
to both male and female family members.
There are many side effects such as technology addiction, time loss, isolation,
lower academic performance together with its benefits. It is obvious that it is not easy
and rational way to entirely keep students away from social media. Digital technology
enables you to communicate with friends, family, and work remotely even if you're in
another country. Words, music, video, and other forms of media can all be used to
communicate. Apps, websites, and software have all been created to help people
socialize. Technology makes our tasks simpler for us to complete and allows people
more freedom. They feel more empowered, certain, and positive as a result. Many
people can benefit greatly from technology. Using the most recent technology may
also make lives easier, so it's not only about looking "cool".
