Observation Essay on the Impact of the Past Two Years on Relations

Family is an unbreakable link between humans. It is defined by love and dedication. The

way we communicate with family members, the tales we share, and having similar interests form

a feeling of what the family is like. It might result in the same attitude on life, personalities, and

opinions. Family connections entail revealing our ideas and feelings without fear of betrayal

from family members. The article highlights how the last two years have enabled us to

strengthen our bonds with friends and family.

The Covid-19 epidemic has taken a heavy emotional toll on humanity, with individuals

worldwide suffering from the devastating death of loved ones and the increased daily stresses

that come with living, educating and working from home. Despite the significant consequences

of lockdowns on everyday life, one possible good aspect of this epidemic was fostering parent-

child ties during this difficult time. Most of the parents indulged in more daily activities with

the youngsters and expressed more physical intimacy, warmth, and love towards them. As a

result, the length of the lockdown resulted in improved ties with family members.

Arguments over Covid-19 guidelines and limits and debates on whether youngsters ought

to be vaccinated have strained relationships throughout the epidemic. Marital disputes have

undoubtedly increased since the epidemic, as has the number of people seeking a divorce. The

improved broken relationships during the epidemic are attributable to more than just variations in

ideologies between spouses; families might have opposing political beliefs and remain together.

The epidemic deprived many individuals of social interaction, which would have allowed them

to express their opinions to friends and relatives.

Educators had challenging jobs before the epidemic, and now they face enormous

additional obstacles, many of which are beyond their control. School districts and governments

are already making critical decisions about the treatments and methods to reduce the learning

reductions over the previous two years. At the same time, there has been an unexpected and rapid

shift to distance learning with no initial training, inadequate bandwidth, and very little

preparation. It resulted in a weak user experience that is highly detrimental to steady growth. A

novel hybrid approach to education has emerged in the last two years, with substantial

advantages.

The use of information technology in classrooms has become an essential part of the

school curriculum. There are obstacles to overcome. Several students have difficulties engaging

in online courses because they lack dependable internet connection and equipment. The disparity

is noticeable between nations and between socioeconomic categories within countries. There is

evidence that studying online is more successful in various ways for people with access to the

appropriate technology.

However, the efficiency of online learning differs by age group. Since children are much

more readily distracted, the common belief is that a managed classroom is essential. Because

studies have found that children utilize their senses significantly to learn, it is critical to make

learning efficient and to engage through the application of technology. However, replies to

COVID-19 reveal a once-in-a-lifetime multinational social experiment regarding family life,

maybe the broadest social research of all time.

Accessible digital technology has also made communicating with individuals outside the

house more accessible, aids in coping with parental stress, and allows children to engage in

school and child-friendly interactions. Nevertheless, online learning and digital technologies are

not readily available to everyone, especially for families experiencing limited digital device

connectivity and youngsters with learning disabilities and special needs.

Families and individuals have not only faced health risks from COVID-19 by attempting

to prevent and endure infection but there have been several particular significance for families.

This epidemic has highlighted the importance of spreading information beyond borders,

organizations, and all sectors of society. Schools continue to emphasize conventional academic

abilities and learning over qualities like critical thinking and flexibility that will be more

necessary for future success.

To summarize, during the past two years, through the pandemic period, policymakers and

service providers worldwide were tasked with making quick decisions that would have instant

and long-term consequences for mental health and the family's well-being. Schools,

neighbourhoods, and government institutions all play essential roles in protecting and assisting

parents and children. Because the efficiency of these processes is also dependent on trans-

disciplinary communication, cooperation, and action, seeking advice and feedback from key

stakeholders will be crucial for tracking if these mechanisms are working for children and

families going forward.

In conclusion, the last two years have not been easy worldwide. The world was hit by a

global pandemic that disrupted every aspect of life and family relationships. Due to the closure

of schools, families have been able to spend more time together, and parents have been able to

understand their children. The shift to online learning provides the impetus for developing a new,

practical approach to educating pupils. The past two years have been eventful with new

introductions that have had a lasting change on work, learning, family, and friendships.
