Foreign Police Graduation Speech

Today, during the International Security graduation ceremony, I extend my deepest

congratulations to all graduates. I also convey my words to you all that have a critical duty in

creating a drug-free world. What a privilege it is to speak in front of everyone, all on behalf of

the finest of the elite in law enforcement. It is the finest honor of my career, and I have had the

opportunity of working with every member of the session.

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks and love to our spouses, wives, babies, and other family

members, whose sacrifices over the previous six weeks outweighed those we have all endured

here at the school. Your dedication and understanding enabled us to pursue our aspirations of

learning new law enforcement methods and investigation techniques. We appreciate you and

adore you. And now that it is over, we attribute you and our countries of origin a debt of

gratitude.

We knew from the moment we landed on that initial Monday that we were in for something

unique. We were now in a zone where each person had dialects and spoke somewhat differently.

It only took one night for us to become lifetime friendships, to start communication and have

healthy disagreements, and to know that this voyage would be more fantastic than we could have

anticipated.

Friendships give birth to a family that has strong roots. This family has now spread from all over

the world to communities deep in Africa. We are a family founded on courage and morals, and

the goal of the training was to increase capacity and improve our organization.

We stretched ourselves intellectually, athletic ability, and socially under the direction of the best

teachers. The topics included innovative investigative techniques, counter-narcotics law

enforcement, exploring cutting-edge technology for use by law enforcement, and human rights

training. During our study, we studied the nature of society today and the effective relationships

we have with each of our crime-control peers from all over the world.

Every instructor's commitment to teaching authentic leadership and good health will assist us in

getting our units where they should be. We started to see the broader picture as our lessons and

weeks advanced. We began to see the need to combat drug trafficking and the hazards that come

with it, such as the fentanyl and methamphetamine crisis. Collaboration is required for success in

avoiding overdose deaths. Medical staff, emergency departments, and police officers contribute

awareness, resources, and experience to combat this complex and rapidly evolving disease. We

can effectively coordinate attempts to prevent overdoses and fatalities in our countries if we

work together.

Interactions and teamwork with our global classmates from 24 countries have provided some of

the best moments of the course. When writing my speech, I made every effort to give the aptest

term to characterize all of you, although, in the end, I continually returned to the exact

conclusion. You are all true gentlemen and ladies. It has been a joy to study alongside every one

of you. You have all honored your countries.

We were chosen to join this elite institution not based on who we were but instead on whom we

will become. We arrived as leaders inside our respective organizations and departed as stewards

for the integrity of our profession and a drug-free world. We have been entrusted with growing

the culture and pressing ahead to guarantee that tomorrow's leadership reflects the ideals we have

been taught. We have obtained the marching orders and are not going down without a fight. That

cannot be an option!
