A. Preliminary (Daily Routine Activities)

-Good Morning Class! Kindly pick-up all the mess under your chairs and please arrange it
properly.

3. Checking of Attendance

-The assigned Checker will check the attendance

4. Review/ Recall of the past lesson


-Who can recall our previous topic?
- Very Good! What is the different classification of safety signs?

B. Developmental Phase / Lesson Proper


1. ACTIVITY “4 PICS 2 WORDS”

-Using a Power Point Presentation, the teacher will show pictures about different types of
hazards in a form of 4 pics 2 words puzzle.
-Let the students voluntarily answer it by arranging the jumbled letters there and will share their
ideas about what does the puzzles implies.

2. ANALYSIS -The teacher will show a picture of Physical hazard and Ergonomic hazard through a Power
Point Presentation and will ask question.

-How do they differ from each other?

Presentation of Objectives & Lesson

-The teacher will present the objectives through a Power Point Presentation and will call one
student to read the following Objectives:
 Differentiate the types of hazard;
 Examine the picture presented for possible hazards;
 Advocate safety by raising awareness about the different types of hazard through
slogan

-The teacher will present and discuss the lesson about Types of Hazards through a Power Point
Presentation.

-The teacher will ask the following questions:

-What is hazard for you?


-What are the possible hazards that we can found in our workplace?
-Why do we need to identify the hazards present in our workplace?

NOTE: If there are students who didn’t pay attention while the teacher was discussing she will
call his/her attention to stand up and answer the question that will going to ask his/her.

3. ABSTRACTION -In pairs let the students look and study the picture about “Hazards in the Kitchen” through a
Power Point Presentation.

-Let them answer the following questions:


 What hazards can you see in the picture?
 What do you think could happen?
 What will you do if this happens to your kitchen?
 What is the best thing to do so that we can avoid this kind of hazard?

Differentiated Activity
4. APPLICATION Mechanics:
1. Divide the class into 3 groups, each group will be performed different task.
2. Distribute the list of procedures in performing the assigned task in each group.
3. Distribute students according to their interest and skills.
4. Let the students do their task for 10 minutes.
5. Each group must have 2 representatives to present their outputs.
6. Present the Rubrics for Group Activity

GROUP 1- Picture Analysis


-Let the group analyze the picture show in a Power Point Presentation and they will provide the
needed information in the table presented.
GROUP 2- DJ Summary
-Let the group write what they have learned today and they will apply the melody of their favorite
song. It doesn’t have to be long. One stanza is enough as long as it summarizes their learnings
today. Feel free to use English, Tagalog or Minasbate to create a song.
GROUP 3- Advocate Safety
-Let the group create a slogan to raise awareness about the different types of hazard and how it
will contribute to everyone’s safety. Feel free to use English, Tagalog or Minasbate creating
slogan.
-After 10 minutes let the representative of each group present their outputs.

NOTE: While the activity is ongoing the teacher will facilitate, supervise and guide them in
accomplishing their task.
The rubrics used for their group activity will be presented to them before they will present their
group work.
