Question:

Discuss and analyse THREE (3) issues, problems, or challenges faced by your
organisation or any organization of your choice (These challenges should be
from the Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling perspective). Provide
recommendations on how to address those issues. Use theoretical and literature
support to strengthen your argument.

Instruction:

1. Your discussion is to include both theory and application. Use applicable theories
and concepts to analyse the issues as well as to support your recommendations.

2. Use WORD DOC to type out your report and then ATTACH YOUR FILE AND
SUBMIT ONLINE on Week 5. You are permitted only ONE (1) submission.

3. The report is to be approximately 2,000 words. Please state your word count in
your report. Take note that the word count DOES NOT includes the Cover Page,
the Table of Content, Executive Summary and the Bibliography.

4. The suggested format for the report is as follows:

Executive Summary

Provide a summary of the key points contained in your report. The purpose of an
Executive Summary is to let your audience/readers know the important points in your
report so that, if they didn’t read your full report, they would still know what it is about
and if needed, they could execute any action required of them based upon reading the
Executive Summary.

Take note that an Executive Summary is not an introduction to your report. While an
introduction is a lead in to your report, an Executive Summary summarizes the key
points of the report.

Chapter 1: Introduction
Include the profile of your company or the company that you have selected here.
Please provide enough information about the company such as its businesses,
history, ownership, etc. If you wished not to disclose the name of the company,
you may use a fake name for it in your report.

Chapter 2: (issue no.1) Chapter 3: (issue no.2) Chapter 4: (issue no.3)

Give an accurate title to each of the issues you are discussing. Analyse the
issues and offer recommendations on how to address them.

Chapter 5: Conclusion & Individual Reflection on Lessons Learned

Conclude your report by reinforcing the key points that have been discussed.
Then briefly explain what are the lessons that you have learned from completing
this assignment.

List all sources of your reference here using Harvard Referencing.

5. Acceptable sources of references include textbooks, academic journals, newspapers,

conference papers, and Internet materials from credible sources (such as university
websites and expert blogs).

6. There are certain online sites that cannot and should not be listed as sources of
reference. These are “cheat” sites such as answer yahoo, marketing teacher,
netMBA, free essay, and sites of such nature whose authors are undetermined. Also
take note that Wikipedia is not accepted as a credible source of academic reference.

8. The report must be type-written using font size 12. You may use any font as long as
it is legible. Headings may be typed in a larger size font for clarity and/or aesthetics.
Please use 1.5 spacing or 2.0 spacing; however, for diagrams and bibliography, you
may use other font sizes and single-spacing.

9. The main body of your text (including bibliography pages) must be numbered. There
must also be a table of content included to show the structure of your report.
Basically, your table of content is the format of your report.

10. Use Harvard Referencing for proper reference of your theories, concepts,
information, data, facts, tables, figures or diagrams which you have gotten from
other sources. The link for Harvard Referencing is given in the Welcome Message
page.

11. Plagiarism (which includes copy/pasted materials from Internet sources or other
published sources, or copying the work of other students, past or present) is strictly
prohibited and plagiarised work, either in part or in full, may be rejected and the
work will be awarded a Fail mark.

12. You are to work offline for this assignment. Type your report in Words Doc. Check
your report for the Similarity Index first by submitting your draft report using
Individual Assignment Draft Submission link in Week 5. Make sure your
Similarity Index is 20% or less. If it were more, revise your report and run through
this draft submission again.

You can run through the draft submission as many times as you want.
Take note that the system may take time to process your submission; thus, do not wait
until the last minute to do the checking.

13. Once your Similarity Index has met the requirement, submit your report by attaching
the whole file to the Individual Assignment Final Submission link in Week 5.
Make sure everything is in order before you make your final submission.
