type of biomolecule would you want to use for energy storage? Why?
- If I were a bird preparing for autumn migration, I would use the lipids for energy storage

fats are made of saturated fats or animal fat, while oils are unsaturated fats that is mainly
found in vegetables.
5. During the winter, many species of amphibians and reptiles go into a hibernation-like state
called overwintering. They eat little or no food, slow their metabolism and breathing rate

choose to spend the winter underwater. Why might be advantageous to overwinter at the
bottom of a pond rather than on land?
It might be advantageous to overwinter at the bottom of the pond rather than on land for
amphibians and reptiles because they cannot tolerate exposure to extremely cold weather or
else they would freeze to death.
