IHCD Paramedic Practice – Multiple Choice Test removal from website

As part of an on-going review process and the re-development of our assessment materials for
the above qualification, the following test papers will be removed from the website with
immediate effect.

 Module G multiple choice tests

 Module H multiple choice tests
 Module I1 multiple choice tests
 Module I2 multiple choice tests

Final test paper sittings and Redevelopment phase

We will only accept results for the above test papers for exams sat up to or on 19th May 2014.
Tests sat after this time will not be valid and learners will need to sit a redeveloped test paper.
Redeveloped materials will be made available as soon as possible. However, the redevelopment
phase of the above tests is likely to take between 8-12 weeks. We apologise for the inconvenience
this will undoubtedly cause, however this process is necessary to ensure that we maintain the
rigour and value of our qualifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

 Are the paramedic pre-entry tests also being removed?

No. Only the multiple choice tests for Paramedic Practice modules G, H, I1 and I2 are
affected. The paramedic pre-entry tests, and tests for all other IHCD qualifications, remain
available.

 I have learners that are ready to sit tests in the very near future - what are my
options?
Your learners should sit the new redeveloped tests when these are available. We anticipate
that this will be in 2-3 months. If you have learners who urgently need to sit a particular
test, you should inform us of this. We will then ensure that the required test is redeveloped
as a priority.
