The importance of transportation in your

life, in the community and in the economy.

Cite also some recommendations on how will

the Philippine government improve our

transportation system.

Transportation has a big role in our lives. It helps us and it makes our
life become easier. Since we depend on transportation for all of our everyday
needs, including getting to school and work on time, and going to different
places in the world. The evolution of transportation across time, which
started with the wheel, has given us the opportunity to travel everywhere in
the current world. There are different modes of transportation, like land
transportation, water transportation, air transportation, rail transportation,
intermodal transportation, and pipeline transportation. And every mode of
transportation has strengths and weaknesses. Transportation has made the
world very comfortable to live in, but sometimes we as humans forget to
appreciate the little things such as transportation. Because of
transportation, it helps us to get to different destinations faster.
Transportation supports our valuable time, which is highly valuable in life. If
transportation stops its existence, the world would be stopped in chaos.
According to Cincymap. Org, 2016, One of our basic human needs is
transportation. We required transportation because from birth to death, our
static bodies won’t be able to accommodate all of life’s necessities and
pleasures. Either we have to move things to us or make sure they move to us.
Economic development is made possible by transportation because it is a
requirement for every human activity. While the importance of transport in
the community is to help the lonely or alone people to take them around. And
also it helps many people to access the transport they need regardless of
their situations. The service is used by the communities to help those who
cannot use private or public transportation. The majority of community
transportation is typically done on a volunteer basis by those who live there
to help others who need it. The Philippine economy relies heavily on the
transportation industry. Infrastructure and transportation are crucial for
financial services and tourism, supporting the expansion of the economy
and the generation of jobs. To create the environment for investment and
promote economic growth, transportation infrastructure needs to be
improved. Although there has been a minor improvement in the quality of
transportation services in the Philippines, much of the road network is still in
disrepair, and multimodal integration is generally limited. Ineffective sector
governance also hinders the sector's ability to function effectively. The
improvement of the country's economic investment climate and economic
growth depend on efficient transportation. In order to facilitate efficient
transportation of products and services throughout the nation and promote
inclusive economic growth, the islands should be connected by smooth
transportation networks. This also holds true for encouraging economic
development throughout the Southeast Asian archipelago. The solution that
begin with increased connectivity include promoting wider economic
growth, eliminating poverty, and enhancing the well-being of the region's
numerous inhabitants living on distant islands.
My recommendations on how will the Philippine government improve
our transportation system are First, the roads and drainage need to be fixed
because sometimes it causes accidents, just like motorists, especially when
it rains, the road sometimes becomes slippery. Next, every road should have
bike lanes so that cyclists can have their own way and so that they don't get
hurt and don't collide with big cars. And lastly, there should always be traffic
enforcers in the pedestrian lane to guide those who cross, especially
considering that many students cross and commute.
