The Gift of the Magi

 Although it is true that Jim would have an important perspective to the story because he
also had many difficult moments and emotions, it would not be as inspiring because Della
suffered much more than Jim. So, Jim's perspective would overshadow the meaning,
purpose, and power of the story.
 Yes, it is believable because you can see how much they love each other by selling what
they valued the most.
 I think it's a happy ending because even though she was left with only combs and hair, and
she got a watch, but no watch, they were together and showed that they could give
everything they had. each other, I wouldn't change a thing, because it teaches us that we
don't need everything to be happy.
 The value of a gift is in the giver, not in the gift itself. Jim and Della bought a gift out of love
for each other and had to sacrifice something close to their hearts.
