1. Approach
The approach refers to how the educational materials is delivered, how the students engage with
it, and how the learning is evaluated. The strategy frequently draws from pedagogical theory
(how students learn)

2. Method
Method is a system of instruction that addresses a pedagogical approach to learning. Places an
emphasis on particular teaching techniques, and offers a strategy for organizational management
to put that approach into practice.

3. Techniques
A teacher would typically utilize a sequence of steps or procedures to carry out a strategy,
approach or technique. Technique are typically taught through professional development or
coaching and are not always specific. Many strategies are taught or modeled by the employer or
a mentor teacher, however in some circumstances, the technique for strategy or method is taught
in teacher preparation courses, such as how to conduct a running record in reading. The coach
instruction and the teacher’s application of the approach will determine how effective it is.

4. Strategies
The actions the teachers uses to carry out the lesson, frequently in order. In a program, tactics
are frequently outlined in a predetermined order. However, as the session goes, teachers
frequently alter the activity or order based on how students demonstrate their mastery of the
subject matter.
