Description
The process of the teacher-in-training was first of all the
observation method, i.e., the way in which the teacher-in-
training develops in her classes, as well as the observation
of the students and a quick scan of their individual
learning. The method was based on playful activities that
allowed the students to get out of their comfort zone, have
fun, interact, but above all learn in an enjoyable way.
It is necessary to clarify that the classes were supervised
by the teacher and the director and approved by her; the
development of the classes is normally a little behaviorist
but the teacher in training offered support classes of the
method was constructivist and playful and this allowed
the student to develop their knowledge guided by the
teacher in process; extra activities to the class that allowed
to reinforce what was learned and to appropriate it.
Both the teacher and the director are very sensitive to the
needs and social, physical and cognitive differences of the
students, the fraternal warmth in the institution and the
support for students who have difficulties in some
subjects is noticeable.
the assistance received by students who have low
academic performance or learning difficulties is almost
personalized, reinforcement instructions are opened in the
afternoons where they receive advice from some teachers,
the institution watches over the learning of its students.
the teacher sometimes used artistic and creative methods
where the student could take ownership of a basic
concept, by means of posters, colors and crafts.
the teacher does an excellent job of accompanying and
instructing in English classes, she tries to leave the
traditional but maintains a slightly conductista lineage
with a mixture of humanist.
