Statement of Problem

To design a low-income house

Condition of House
❖ 1 living room
❖ 2 bedrooms
❖ 1 kitchen
❖ 1 dining room
❖ 1 Toilet and Bath
Justification of House
❖ Living room- is located at the front entrance, this allows easy access to the guest and other enterers; it’s the
main room of greetings and conversations.

❖ Kitchen- is located north of the living room with a door allowing entry; this allows finger foods and other
refreshments to easily be served to persons in the living room. A little breeze will be able to enter hence the
stove would not be disrupted.

❖ Dining room- is opened to the kitchen allowing food prepared in the kitchen to be quickly transported to the
dining table without obstruction.

❖ Bedrooms -are located in the east allowing refreshing morning sunlight to be enjoyed along with the view of
the sun rises and sunset. A sufficient, soft breeze will be available since the wind moves in a general direction
at the northeast.

❖ Toilet and Bath- is adjacent to both bedrooms allowing easy access to and from the bedrooms. Giving the user
efficiency when preparing on a daily basis. Nightly washroom accommodations are quick and comfortable.
