The teacher will discuss the different Dimensions of Holistic Health

Health-is a state of complete physical, mental or intellectual, emotional,


social, moral-spiritual and environmental well-being. It is not merely the
absence of disease or infirmity.
A. Physical Health
-It refers to the well-being of an individual.
- It means that you can do your daily task without getting tired and undue
fatigued.
Some of the things that can make you physically healthy
1. Exercise
2. Eating a balance diet
3. Enough rest
(Having an active lifestyle can create a good physical posture into
adolescence. Avoid too much time playing the computer and video
games.)
B. Mental Health
– ability to think and improve quality of life.
- It is the ability to rationalize things
Some of the things that can improve your mental health
1. Going out with friends
2. Making yourself busy
3. Reading books.
4. Find good reason in your failures.
5. Think that everything happened for a good reason.

C. Emotional Health
—It is the ability to accept failures.
- Understanding and liking oneself
Some of the things that can improve your Emotional health
1. Cope with your environment
2. Consider the feelings of others.
3. Finding peace and resting comfortably in our own home

D. Social Health
—Ability to build relationship with your community and how you
interact with the people that surround you.
-Social acceptance means to interact with different types of people, accept
and understand different norms and values.
Reminders that can improve your social health
1. Express your emotions OPENLY.
2. Always forgive someone by saying sorry when you hurt them so
that the person can forgive you.
3. Your emotions are valid, If you are angry, tell your friend what
he/she said that made you feel angry.

-Refers to one’s faith, beliefs and values.

1. Respect everybody’s faith; it is looking deeply within oneself and
